Irwin Corey, who Lenny Bruce once called “one of the most brilliant comedians of all time,” has died at 102.

I knew that KNEW who Richard Hatch was, tho I never watched his tv show. I realized the first time I saw him was in a tv movie called "Deadman's Curve" which was the story of CA singing duo, Jan & Dean. He played Jan Berry. I know I've seen him in movies but for some reason that's movie I remembered. Always thought he was cute.

Can't say I remember Irwin Corey but wow, 102? Amazing!

At first I thought Richard Hatch was the guy who played with Stallone in the Rambo movies.

My old associate newscaster Lucy Noland,implied ,as the way we all use 2 remember our crushes,in high school of course,or in my case ,Jaclyn Smith,,that she fantasized (aka)(rubbing herself)oooh..what a thought..about richard hatch..I wish my mouth was there 2 get the drippings..Lucy ..Im sorry ,but I love u..miss u.!

He was a funny guy. There was a night club here in NYC called the upstairs at the down stairs. He appeared their so did Joan Rivers we used to see both of then their it was for comedians.

When you reach a certain age nothing surprises you when people die.

There are s few people that I am still friendly with that are still alive. But I only have two real friends that are still breathing. The rest are only a memory.

You think the kids inlaws are waiting for you to kick off so they can divide the inheritance.

I have to bring up that the grim reaper himself (SC) also had Irwin Corey on his list.

Geoff made the last updates and he left me out on Corey. I was gonna wait a week or two and make a big stink about it.

I think I was still confused by Mig's "Corey Irwin" and missed it...

Just saw that David Cassidy is battling from dementia. That will be a name to sadly add in a few years. His mother is still around as well.

I know. I am so sorry to hear that. I'm guessing he has the "early onset dementia" (which occurs in your 60s) which from what I read IS hereditary, since it seems to run in his family. AND Glen Campbell a couple years ago also announced he suffered from it.

Sad news indeed.

David Cassidy's mother isn't Shirley Jones, but Evelyn Ward, who died in 2012. Jones is Cassidy's stepmother.

Whoops, my mistake. I also know that his father was also famous, but probably not as much as Shirley and David were.

Also, I remember reading an report almost to the year that Glen Campbell entered the last stage of Alzheimers. I hope he can be at peace soon.

with respect and not trying to offend anyone, get the feeling that Cassidy's revelation isn't true and a p.r. move to hide alcoholism.

My maternal grandmother suffered from form of dementia during her final days, so I'm obviously not making light of it. Saw the footage of him stumbling around the other day ..slurring words,etc....and that's consistent with just plain being drunk.

I understand that statement, and had that thought as well. Especially, since his father also suffered from alcoholism. But, being drunk can mask symptoms of someone who is suffering from dementia, or Alzheimers. Rita Hayworth is a case like that, with her getting kicked off a flight while possibly drunk. It pretty much masked what would be diagnosed in 1980 as Alzheimers. We will see in time though.
