Certainly not these bonannos, The Bonnanos in HB were a huge crew,Actually 3 different crews in operation in HB,Ozp and surrounding areas,Long island etc.Those guys, Jerry Asaro,Padavona,palmaccio,Ronnie g,Vinny and a few others were a powerhouse ! No one fucked with any of them,Not the Gambinos ,no one ! They were blood thirsty ruthless fucks that rivaled Alphonse's crew,and they lasted longer ! Most of those guys were stone cold,straight gangsters in every sense of the word ! They had major,huge drug operations, and sold everything from coke,crack,weed,heroin,bootleg cigarettes,and had the bookmaking literally on smash ! They were into everything,from drugs,extortion,protection,loansharking,assaults,shooting,murders,forget it ! When mike palmaccio got shelved for a month by jerry back in 2011 himself alone was kicking up 300,000 a month ! Ronnie G was a monster, The guy was supposedly worth over 100.Mil ! 2 of they're guys in 2009 got busted with a shipment of over 250 kilos of Coke and heroin out in Deer park and the Hamptons LI, Mikey.P also traveled the country going to college div.1 football games where he was treated like royalty,hung out wirh players,was invited to parties and into locker rooms wonder what was going on there,hmmmm ???His father was out west in the late 60's and 70's where he was sent and had about 7-10 casinos under his belt,Major bookmaker,casino operator,handicapper but you'll never find his name online anywhere ! Most guys out there in HB,on the streets were deathly afraid of Jerry,Vinny,Ronnie g and company and wouldn't go near them ! Some people at Don peppes had major problems with this crew/crews in the mid 2000's and certain Genovese guys pled for they're sons and nephews lives,not saying any names ! They also had major sway in the rap game and were running a few labels and had major connections to black and Hispanic gangs who they regularly did biz with !! And I wasn't saying Nicky or Jojo were dead,I was saying they were taken down and jailed ! I was talking about Brother who died,who was influential,had juice,and was very well respected ! Going back to when I first came on this site,people were saying there were no social clubs left in Bensobhurst,bath beach which I laughed my ass off at !! There's still so many social clubs in the Hurst its ridiculous, between those,cafes,and after hours gambling spots its a joke ! But then again I look at the people I'm talking to on here !! That says it all !!To clarify, the water view came about when I was about 15 yes old around 87-88 I ate breakfast there or at the Esquire almost 7 days a week with my grandfather, Than off to the track,the OTB and then to the cafe or club ! im curious about the howard beach bonannos. thats an active area for basically all five families. we all saw that huge queens based gambino crew led by trucchio (and the sister crew led by mastrangelo) get broken up in 2011 that was without a doubt one of the most active crews in nyc.

what about the howard beach bonannos...is there more than one crew? im assuming it was vincent asaro, then his son, then ronnie g as capo of that crew if there is only one; with a couple of soldiers and dozens and dozens of associates.


wonder who will be next out there now that the ronnie g crew is broken up. howard beach is ridiculous...one of the nicest most expensive areas in NYC that takes pride in its "no crime" safe community and its filled with literally hundreds of kids who all grew up in a nice area, shaking down local businesses owned by their very own neighbors, and robbing eachothers houses

that ronnie g crew seemed very very active, and its interesting we see now that gotti junior was an associate (or an associate of an associate) ... most likely kicking up from that big pill operation he was involved in which was making a ton of cash

I don't know if the place has mob ties or not. What I do know they throw a nice wedding there. I was there during a Power black out one summer. They have portable refrigeration units so the food stay fine and air conditioners worked. My friend filmed a movie in that place. Looking for an echo staring Armand Assante good movie.
