How in the world did he become such a popular comedian without using foul language and being, otherwise, a decent performer?

Bill Dana goes on the ed Sullivan show dressed like an astronaut. Sullivan sees his helmet and says I see you have your crash helmet on. He says crash helmet I hope not.

Yes, I watched it as a little kid. RIP Miss Mary Ann. My friend from grade school and her cousins were on that show. But it was with Miss Soco.

I'm not sure how many of you over there knew about him but I am sure at least a couple of you did. Swedish actor Michael Nyqvist passed away today from cancer at the age of 56. Some of the films that you might know him from was the 'Millennium'-trilogy and 'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol'.

I am never one to judge someone who takes his or her life, because nobody knows what goes on in the head of such a person, but he sure had a lot of things that would make life worth living.

This is why pedophiles should be locked up with no second, or third, chances to reoffend.

He was sexually abused as a child, and all these years later it has destroyed not just his life but the lives of his family.

Mental illness doesn't discriminate unfortunately.

On the surface some people can appear to have it all but may be going through torture inside.

God love him.

When I was 12, I had a paper route that included a senior citizens' apartment complex. I used to collect at 7:30 on Tuesday nights, because every single person in the complex would be home watching "The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour."

He was a tremendous talent.

I was watching what's my line on you tube before he died watching him on that fantastically funny. Man they were funny. Before I had a little bit of money I would go to Martin and Lewis movie. Then just Lewis movies before they got to Broadway. They would come in person to ever Movie Theather from Harlem to Broadway and do ten minutes live before the movie started. Those movies were good, but nothing compared to the off the cuff stuff they did in person on the Theather stage. I never forgot it. My wife introduced me to the real Theather. We saw the opening night of a chorus line we had good seats on the right side of the third row. After the show started and the lights were off a couple sat down next to me. It was Jerry Lewis and his first wife. I did not bother them but all I could was remember the good times I had at the theather with his life 10 minute performance. I did tell him at the very end. He was very gracious to me. When he first sat down his wife was near me I saw a ring she was wearing I wanted to steal it but the wife was there so I did not. Then I saw who her husband was and it was a great moment for me too talk to him. The muscular dystrophy telethons were great. I would go when they just did it in a hotel in NYC and I always gave to it.
