Between seven and 10 years for murder conspiracy, no wonder they kill each other over there. The fact that the actual triggerman, Simpson, only got 10 years for murder is absolutely insane. Time for Canada to adopt their version of the RICO statute, or at least a three strikes and you get life rule. Even in Holland he would get life (25 years at least).

He does have some stars that may work in his favor like the DiMaulo clan, Ontario clans and some biker connections;but I do not think the Rizzuto clan is ready to accept this arrangement. Unfortunately there will be more shootings before this gets settled. There may also be other MTL leaders that might want the job.

would he go back to working with mirarchi? You make a good point. That’s actually a great observation, guy would be crazy not to align himself with whatever is on the outside, and working with those in positions of influence. Desjardins did turn on Vito, but actually killed Montagna. I’ve asked around, that doesn’t seem to be forgotten or forgiven either. So, it’s easy to see why people would align with Rizzuto, it’s gotta be someone’s fault, why not blame Desjardins. Also, heard Desjardins is the one who had the guy in Laval or Muskoka, Khano?? whacked, would that even make sense, do they know each other? If so, he’s still capable. Also, triggers on Sal Scoppa, were brought in from the otherside, that was instrumental in getting at least the majority of Southern Italians in Montreal/ Quebec to get back to working together, now that is taking hold else where (ie. Toronto/Hamilton).
In Sicily, women are more dangerous than the shotgun.
