-I shot him a coupla' times. -What's a couple? -Hmm, more than a couple... Really I don't know the exact amount, maybe I shot him 10 times, 12 times? -Maybe fifteen? -Hmm, it could've been fifteen...

Someone named Ray Capri, who rounded out a band they called "Vincent, Pesci and Capri". They performed around the same time during the '70's that Pesci and Vincent also performed as a comedy duo. Seems like Ray just died in June of this year.

Vito Genovese Any idea what the story is behind this one? Genovese looks like he's making sure the nutritional information is up to his standards. This is the note for this photo on pinterest. Not sure what the source is. "Around the mid-1950's Vito Genovese became a partner in a family firm known as the Erb Strapping Co which did primarly waterfront business. Genovese invested $249 and Erb and his sister Eleonor Erb Pica $255 for incorporation expenses. Through the influence of Vito Genovese, the Erb Corporation became one of the largest service companies in the frozen and tinned meat fields in the Port of New York. In a little less than fifteen years the gross profits grew over fifteen times."

Yeah, and they never went to the media crying about it either..They accepted their punishment like men !!
Joe Coffey said that he broke Tony {paulie walnuts} Sirico's nose and blood was all over Sirico's white shirt and when the judge asked him what happened Sirico said that he fell..
Today's wanna be tough guys would give him up in a second !! I've never heard that before. Cool story. I wonder why he hit him.

Sirico was trying to extort a shop owner and the owner called the cops and Coffey was waiting for Sirico to come back and when Sirico took the money or made a threat I don't remember, Coffey came out of the back and cracked him..
Coffey said that he respected Sirico and the old time guys who would never rat !! Thanks for the story DiLorenzo

Today's wanna be tough guys would give him up in a second !! My dad took such a beaten from the cops once as soon as the judge saw his face he cut him loose. I guess he figured the beating was enough punishment. My father didn't run to a lawyer, he was happy to get released and that was it. My father always preached to us to never make an enemy of a cop though, for obvious reasons.
