Can Hollywood move on already? They need to stop with gotti and do other gangster movies. Imagine a movie on greg scarpa or about vinnie palermo and the Decavalcantes. Those stories got Hollywood written all oven them. Hell yes. I don't understand Hollywood's obsession with Gotti. Sorry to disrespect the dead but the fuckin guy's story's been told a hundred times over, he was basically a cheap thug in expensive suits, and he did more damage to the Mob than probably anyone else. There's nothing to admire about him even if you love LCN. His mouth and ego did more damage than ten Rudy Giuliani's put together. I don't get their obsession with him. He really was just a street thug in Brioni suits and people act like he was the 80s version of Vito Corleone.

True. Ill give gotti credit but he was a damn moron. Real gangsters are low key. He was a fuckin Blabbermouth, even without all the flash. He might as well have been a rat for all the shit he got on tape for the Feds. There's a story, right, of a 1960s era meeting, Carlo Gambino, Paul Castellano, and some other heavy hitters. All the Feds got on tape from this high level meeting was "frog legs." The older generation knew how to shut up.
