Good old Van Morrison..

Seems to have aged well:

"...the successful annihilation of organized crime's subculture in America would rock the 'legitimate' world's foundation, which would ultimately force fundamental social changes and redistributions of wealth and power in this country. Meyer Lansky's dream was to bond the two worlds together so that one could not survive without the other." - Dan E. Moldea

and great episode too !
i always wonder what happened with furio, but that's exactly why that show is great ! there are so many things to wonder, so many things left unsolved which give us the opportunity to guess.

Word has it Federico Castelluccio (Furio) was written off the show for leaking script details.

That has been around for awhile Oaks, he had a girlfriend around the time Made was being filmed that was in the media and leaked minor plots in Made and the Sopranos, nothing serious for the writers to just get rid of Furio.

Favorite song from the series? There are many as they did a good job of setting the scene up. I would have to say "Glad Tidings" by Van Morrison. It was played in the finale of season 5.

"I have this Nightmare. I'm on 5th avenue watching the St. Patrick's Day parade and I have a coronary and nine thousand cops march happily over my body." Chief Sidney Green

The Kinks "Living on a thin line" and Journey "Don't stop Believing."

Reason for the Journey pick is not because of the finale, but because it is in fact a favorite of mine and was chosen as the song that my wife and I used for our wedding reception entrance.

"Wrapped in a Memory" by Shawn Smith. Plays at the end of the Long Term Parking episode. Don't know what it is about it, but I just love the song.

"Living on a Thin Line" would be right there for me as well.
