Merlino is not clean but he's crafty, he knows what not to say and He's really good at it. There's no way they made all of that money and Merlino didn't get a cut. In Joey's defense, the New Yorkers have no idea who he is, and so there's almost no security and no barriers between jurors, defendant, prosecutors, jury. Joey goes out to have a fucking cigarette and he ends up in an elevator with half the jury? Not his fault. I think the judge realizes this.

Merlino realy should of married a 100% Italian girl. Im sure he has awesome daughters, no doubt, but his choice for a wife may be a tad suspect.
