https://allenwestblog.americanewsce...and-sheriff-pushing-liberal-agenda-hard/"One of the things that was immediately surprising in the wake of the school shooting in Florida was Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel on every channel appearing like a politician pushing for gun control." Sheriff Scott Israel who is the boss of the coward Scot Peterson and the other officers that stayed outside the school. This sheriff is a democrat . It explains it all. It also explains why he teamed up with Fake News CNN to bash Dana Loesch at the town hall meeting. That was to deflect the incompetency of his officers. The truth is finally out. Judge Jeanine shredded him to pieces on her show.

[How old do you think they are you go in at 20 retire at 40. So they are not old. What do retired cops do they work in security in shopping malls or they become handy men. Why not work in a school. All the more reason they should be required to work an addition 10 years to qualify for a pension. 20 on the beat, 10 at the desk, unless they choose to stay on the beat. Taxpayers should not be funding pensions for people retiring in their 40s. That's ridiculous. We're turning the law enforcement officer into a luxury job. Hey the left loves union workers. They contribute money they do grass roots door knocking. Am I wrong about that?

Police aren't real union members. They don't work in solidarity with other unions. They're protection racketeers. Their union is more like a mafia. The police unions would try to make their pensions eligible after 10 years if we let them get away with it. If you can score a sweet deal like that in the private sector, more power to you. But public pensions should not be springing people into second careers. That's b.s. It's called double dipping, and police are notorious for it today. It's not right. I agree with most of that.

Tune in to LIVE Pd. Those cops in Pasco, at least up until a couple of years ago started off at $18/hr. They went five years without raises. With all of the stupid shit they deal with, they deserve a pension. Get your facts straight. After twenty years they get a pension. It's thirty years when they get the big pension. My dad worked in Hillsborough as a C.O. and after twenty years he said fuck it, and went to driving trucks. That pension doesn't start getting collected until later. So, get your facts straight. Could you ever hold a job for at least twenty years? Let alone a job dealing with a bunch of scum all day? That's the job they chose and if they get a pension at the end of the day, good for them. In Florida they have the f.r.s., it's like social security. The new generation pays for the older generations. By the way, what did the Obama administration do to protect schools? Not a Fucking thing. How many massacres with guns happened under his administration? What was done? You can bet your ass Trump is listening to the people and things will finally get done. But wait, he's going to get impeached for colluding with Russia our because he's mentally unfit. Agree 100%. Cops have the worst job in America. On Security, Trump is right. Arm teachers. Lastly, Rifles account for 2% of all gun fatalities. 40 get shot in Chicongo over the weekend, no one gives a damn, doesnt fit the media narrative, which is anti gun and wants them all banned. Thats what this is ultimately about. Gun control. And gun control isnt about guns, its about control. They did in Russia and killed 66 million Christians. Then in China-ditto.

Cops have the worst job in America. How do you figure? Their job is not even among the 10 most dangerous jobs in America. Most Dangerous Jobs in 2016
Rank Occupation Fatal injuries per 100,000 workers, Total deaths
1 Logging workers 135.9, 91 2 Fishers and related fishing workers 86, 24 3 Aircraft pilots and flight engineers 55.5, 75 4 Roofers 48.6, 101 5 Trash and recycling collectors 34.1, 31 6 Iron and steel wokers 25.1, 16 7 Truck and sales drivers 24.7, 918 8 Farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural managers 23.1, 260 9 First-line supervisors of construction trades and extraction workers 18, 134 10 Grounds maintenance workers 17.4 , 217 https://www.bls.gov/news.release/cfoi.nr0.htmShould fisherman get a fat pension after 20 years? Roofers? Trash collectors? Truck drivers? Construction workers? Maintenance workers? They'd get laughed out of the room for asking. And, their jobs are more dangerous than a police officers' job. The numbers don't lie.

Cops have the best job in the world, they can violate civil liberties whenever they feel like it, frame innocent people, beat and shoot people, they can not uphold the constitution just because.

The numbers don't lie. No one is trying to kill fishermen or loggers. They are effectively zoo keepers, working with the most dangerous and most degenerate. only police officers face the threat of murder as a part of their job. No one is out trying to kill fisherman or loggers or garbage collectors. A cop on the street endures daily contact with drunks, the mentally disabled and violent criminals. They endure life-and-death situations on a daily basis. Those other professions wished they had a Union to negotiate for them. Perhaps they should organize. I think Pensions are deserved for all of them, but the powers that be, restrict them and have made huge cuts. They now want you to try to beat the market, investing in the shell game aka The stock market with a 401 K, Just hope theres not a market crash. What a racket. Arrest all the criminals on Wall Street and DC. Cops jobs, like fireman, is vital and crucial. I support them. Ive had to call them once and was glad they arrived when they did. 60k year average to work holidays and weekends is not a helluva lot of money. It might not be top 10 most dangerous, but its sure as hell top 50. Depending on the locale. Bureau of Labor Statistics. A logging worker is eight times more likely than a police officer to die on the job, and a garbage man is three times more likely to die while working. The 10 Deadliest Jobs: Deaths per 100,000 1. Logging workers: 128.8 2. Fishers and related fishing workers: 117 3. Aircraft pilot and flight engineers: 53.4 4. Roofers: 40.5 5. Structural iron and steel workers: 37 6. Refuse and recyclable material collectors: 27.1 7. Electrical power-line installers and repairers: 23 8. Drivers/sales workers and truck drivers: 22.1 9. Farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural managers: 21.3 10. Construction laborers: 17.4Out of approximately one million police and law enforcement personnel, with 126 deaths per year, the death rate for police is 12.6 per hundred thousand. Thats gone down from the trend- downward in the last 40 years. Police work is getting progressively safer compared with historical averages: From 1970 to 1980 police deaths averaged 231 per year. 1980 to 1989: police deaths averaged 190.7. 1990 to 1999: police deaths averaged 161.5. 2000 to 2009: police deaths averaged 165. 2013 to 2014: police deaths averaged 113.'

Black Lives Matter, right? 5% are rogue, it that. Video has changed the game, and few incidences of what you describe. Litigation or ghetto lottery assures that they are kept honest.

America's most dangerous jobs ll Police officer Fatality rate per 100,000 workers: 18 Median wage: $55,620 The number of police officers killed on the job skyrocketed 40% in 2010 to 134 from 96 the year before. Craig Floyd, CEO of the National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Fund in Washington, said that the increase in police fatalities has continued into 2011 with year-to-date deaths up 22% through early August. "They're taking away training dollars, equipment dollars and manpower dollars," said Floyd. "When you cut law enforcement budgets people, including officers, die." Floyd said that, with fewer officers on the streets, criminals also seem more willing to shoot at them than in the past. However, one of the main culprits when it comes to police killings are traffic accidents, said Floyd. Traffic-related accidents were up 37% in 2010 and represented 56% of all fatalities. Only two occurred in high-speed pursuits, he said, with the rest occurring on routine patrol. "We see a lot of crashes when officers are responding to emergency calls," he said. "Officers are different. They want to help and they put themselves at potential life-threatening peril to help others." http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2011/pf/jobs/1108/gallery.dangerous_jobs/index.html

The article you've linked posts numbers from 2010, nearly a decade ago. And, It's kind of weird that most of these lists are of the top 10, and this article has 11, listing police as number 11. Are police even really number 11 by the numbers in that year, or did they just add this section to include police as to not ruffle any feathers with outspoken police supporters?
Giving it the benefit of the doubt, you still have at least 10 occupations more dangerous than being a police officer.
All of the hyperbole aside.
All of the mythology about people wanting to kill police (if they really did, their job would be more dangerous by the numbers).
It is not even a top 10 most dangerous job in America.
Roofers take more of a risk every day. Fact.

Thats because 10 was almost a tie. The occupation of a Cop isnt in the Top 10 Most Dangerous, Because its #11 Most Dangerous. Deaths are down significantly in the last 5 years.
Probably has alot to do with (De) Policing. With post riots Cincinnati, St Louis, Ferguson etc. It Moves in cycles, pendulum swings and the community decides they dont want law and order and to be policed, only now, I believe nationally, that aggressive policing is out to make way for the race baiters and race hustler pimp. Its still a Dangerous job. A very dangerous job in fact in most places, unless its a white suburb, but even those are disappearing. Thanks Obama.

Roofers take more of a risk every day. Fact. Cops wear Body armour. Factor in how many cops get shot or seriously injured, and it jumps way up on the Most Dangerous scale, if youre only considering murders. And Most roofers arent wearing safety harnesses. Yes, roofing is a dangerous job. But Id much rather roof than be a cop in downtown Hoodville-pick any large city.

A Cop Is Killed Every 58 Hours By Michelle Malkin August 15, 2014 "Fact: Last year, 100 law-enforcement officers were killed. On average, over the past decade, there have been 58,261 assaults against law enforcement each year, resulting in 15,658 injuries.Fact: New York City has lost more officers in the line of duty than any other department, with 697 deaths. Texas has lost 1,675 officers, more than any other state." https://www.nationalreview.com/2014/08/cop-killed-every-58-hours-michelle-malkin/Factor in Officers shot or seriously injured, and its way more Dangerous on the Most Dangerous Jobs. Our cities are like war zones. I dont want that job.

'Our cities are like warzones' says the guy who has never been in either a war zone or a major city.
All God's children are not beautiful. Most of God's children are, in fact, barely presentable.
I never met anyone who didn't have a very smart child. What happens to these children, you wonder, when they reach adulthood?
