From the 1990s until 2014/2015 father-and-son Vito & Joseph Grimaldi were soldiers in the family's Ridgewood crew. Now they are both capos.
From 1991-1993 father-and-son Vinny and Jerry Asaro were soldiers in the Howard Beach/Ozone Park crew. In 1993, Vinny was promoted to capo and was capo over his son until his arrest and demotion in the late 1990s. When Vinny was released in the mid-2000s, he was a soldier under Jerry Asaro, which Vinny despised. In 2012, Vinny formed his own crew from Jerry's crew because of an ongoing feud between the father-and-sons.
In the 1990s Joe Cammarano Jr. and Dino Cammarano were a soldiers in their dad's crew.
Joseph DeSimone has a grandson who is a soldier in his crew.
Vito Badamo Sr. and Vito Badamo Jr. were soldiers in the same crew and the two had stuff going on not only in Williamsburg, but also Providence, Rhode Island.
Gaspare Valenti was an associate in the Howard Beach crew from the 1960s-2014 but his son, Fat Sammy, was inducted into the crime family in 2013 and remains a soldier today, even though his father has flipped.
John 'Johnny Joe' Spirito Sr. is a soldier in the Bronx crew, and his son was recently an acting capo in the crew.
Pasquale 'Patty Boy' Maiorino and his father, Salvatore 'Chubby' Maiorino, were both soldiers in the same crew.
