Quick clarification; Even though often it's presented as having a horizontal structure.... It's kinda been proven that Ndrangheta has a strict hierarchy and chain of command. ALL the locales supposedly are clones of mother locales in Calabria.

Costa nostra and ndrangheta are criminal freemasonry. The Naples gangs mostly control products, markets. It's been like that since the world wars, with the black market first, then the huge cigarette trade. Then the huge open air drug markets and the high fashion sweat shops... They all infiltrate construction and agriculture/ supermarkets.
