New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, the most famous professional Major League Baseball (MLB) baseball teams known for their mutual rivalry, will play two official league games in London next year.

And the Yankees are in sole possession of first place! Winners of 17 of their last 18. They went on a 9 game win streak and are now currently on an 8 game win streak!

I hope so. REALLY hope they can go all the way this year. This team never says die and is so young and exciting to watch! I just think they'll need to trade for more starting pitching at the trade deadline. I have no idea what's going on with Gray though? I was in favor of the trade last year but his numbers so far this year are awful!

The crowds outside the stadium in Vegas are amazing.

VERY happy the Warriors bounced the Rockets last night to go to the NBA Finals. Shocked more than anything that Cleveland was able to win Game 7 on the road in Boston. The same NBA Finals 4 years in a row and I'm sure we all know how it'll end. I'll still wind up watching it though.

The Yankees take 2 out of 3 from the Astros and 5 out of 7 for the season. See you guys in October!

Tonight is Game 1 of the NBA Finals. I personally think the series will be a repeat of last year's and won't go past 5 games.

I feel bad for Cleveland. The offensive foul on KD that was later reviewed and then overturned to a blocking foul on LeBron. Then JR Smith's brain fart with 4 seconds left in regulation. Cleveland let that game slip through their fingers and I think that may have been there best chance to win a game on the road. LeBron becomes the first player in NBA Finals history to score over 50 points in a Finals game and lose.

Great, so not only did the Yankees need pitching before, but now starter Jordan Montgomery is going to need season-ending Tommy John surgery. Make that 2 pitchers we need now unless they bring someone up from the minors (Justus Sheffield, perhaps?).

It's been getting talked about more lately, especially with the rise of players like Steph Curry and it's a fair question: would Steph Curry be the player he is back in the 1980's/1990's? I don't think so. He's a great shooter, there's no way around that, but what you were able to get away with back then, I still don't think he'd be draining 30-footers with the ease he does in today's game.

In other news, is anyone else getting sick and tired of the Jordan/LeBron comparisons? That's all ESPN has been running during these playoffs. IMO, it's no contest, Jordan. LeBron's got some great numbers and has a chance to unseat Kareem as the all-time leading scorer, not to mention he could finish in the top 5 for assist leaders as well. Extremely impressive. However, LeBron's been on the wrong side of history with some of his numbers as well. Just in Game 1 of the NBA Finals this year, he became just the 6th player in Finals history to score at least 50 points. The difference with LeBron, he's the only one to have scored 50+ in a Finals game and still lost. In addition, LeBron has been to 8 straight NBA Finals between Miami and Cleveland. Again, extremely impressive. His record (granted if they lose this year as well): 3-5 (and 3-6 overall for his career). Jordan in the Finals: 6-0.

Well, NBA free agency has been a frenzy during day 1! LeBron to the Lakers, Paul George resigns with OKC, Chris Paul resigns with Houston. Other than Philadelphia, Boston should easily march to the Finals next year. The West will be a dogfight next year between Golden State, the Lakers, Houston and OKC.

Four times Tour winner Chris Froome may be banned from this year's edition, because it looks like he was doped during the Vuelta last year. He may end up losing all tour titles like Armstrong.
