Clint Walker, Towering Western Star, Is Dead at 90

Wow..... I was switching channels on tv last week, looking for something to watch and I saw "The Dirty Dozen" was being aired. I watched it and wondered if Clint Walker was still alive. I guess I got the answer now. (He died last Monday).

When I first saw him in TDD, I thought he was the biggest guy I ever saw.

Dwight Clark, a two-time Super Bowl champion immortalized by "The Catch" in 1981, has died at age 61 on ALS. He played nine seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.

Designer Kate Spade, she hung herself in her NYC home today.

I did something I swore I would not do, and visited some of the non Dead Pool threads on this board. Big mistake!! SC, JG and the others in charge deserve a medal for monitoring these posts. It does make me nostalgic, though, for some of the less divisive conversations of the past. Not to say there wasn't controversy, but it certainly wasn't the bigoted mess I see now.

It seems that quite a few relatively young people are dying under circumstances that prompt me to wonder if there's something in the air or water. I wonder if any of those deaths are due to a legacy of drug use when they were much younger.
