It is not a false equivalencies. Elian's mother died so that her child can live free in America, instead the democrats returned Elian to a dictator with no respect for human rights. Democrats are hypocrites and the Elian case is a perfect example.

You can spin this all you want, the child was returned to a murderous regime. Parents have no rights over their children in a communist state. Elian's father has no choice but to follow what the state tells him to do or else families members will be tortured or jailed.
