Maybe it believes that when you show your id they are checking for warrants?
You admire criminals. You're on a mob web site, and you're rarely critical of mobsters, as I often am. Most of the mobsters you've openly idolized on this website would probably be afraid to vote due to having warrants. But you'd still run up and ask for their autograph.
