All the woke people on Twitter bring up the treatment of guys in Guantanamo or the black guys who were in solitary in Angola, but never mention the abysmal treatment of Tommy Silverstein, an ex AB member. The worse thing Tommy did on the streets was rob a bank as a teenager. He's been in solitary with no human contact for decades, he lives in a cell inside a cell. He didn't bomb civilians, sell drugs, kill civilians, etc. He killed a drug dealing and murdering DC black and a prison guard who was torturing people. Bad stuff, but there are people who've done much worse who aren't locked down 24 hours a day.

But I was told that there were 9 members in the prison system that served as a council of leaders and were equal, two passed away and now Mills did, so that leaves six members left unless they brought in others. Underneath them was the council in a prison, Mike Thompson was part of a three man council at one of the California prisons. I remember the cops got four of the leaders including Mills right before 2010 on more charges, but they released information about the AB and the "National Council" all lifers, so what good did that do, except keep the leaders in isolation, with very little contact to the outside world.
