Obviously we know the most talked about mob guys like gotti,demeo,scarfo,etc. But there are many others who were dangerous and are rarely discussed. One guy i brought up a while ago was Tony Plate who was a longtime gambino enforcer/loanshark in Miami. Another i would say was Tommy Agro was also a psycho and supposedly on lithium. Anyone have other names that arent well known?

He's talked about some but I don't think on the same level as gotti, demeo, and scarfo like you said...but Tony Mirra has to be mentioned. I think it was Joe Pistone who said he liked to stay arms length away from him at all times because you never knew when he would snap and pull out a blade.

Yeah Tony was nuts. I read that when joe pistone was revealed as a fbi agent mirra got the hell out of dodge since so many wiseguys wanted to kill him since he was such a dick to everybody lol

Mirra was one of the most despised guys around. His colleagues were literally waiting for a solid reason and opportunity to have him whacked. Even a loony like Scarpa was well liked and praised for his sense of humor around fellow mobsters. That surely says something about Mirra.

Dunno if he's obscure enough to apply, but Anthony Indelicato didn't get the "whack whack" nickname for nothing.

Pitera isn't really discussed a whole lot either because frankly people mostly connect his name with his (by now) official serial killer status and tend to forget that he was actually a Bonanno member at the same time. Probably one of the most demented fucks ever connected to the Mob.

Tommy Karate is pretty well known but you are right his methods were more geared toward a serial killer rather than a mobster. Crazy a guy that psychotic and martial arts specialist had a voice like mickey mouse lol

Not mafia but LA has some gang members that were also serial killers. Timothy McGhee of Toonerville was one. Walked up behind a high school student sketching a picture at the LA riverbed and shot him in the head, then shot a homeless person who witnessed it. He killed several people he suspected of talking to police. He also shot at Kurupt and the Dogg Pound when they were recording near Toonerville's hood, killing a bodyguard. Everyone thought it was DMX's crew but it turned out it was this sick fuck.

He found his way onto the tv show America's Most Wanted. Eventually apprehended in '03. Today he sits on death row at San Quentin.

I think they are all dangerous they have either killed or have been around killings.

The story of David Petillo traveling around and killing people while dressed as a woman for his disguise never struck me as realistic. I think there are many who none of us will not know the names of that are or were more dangerous than the ones we know of.

I know that Henry Hill is full of shit about a lot of things, but there was a picture of someone in one of his books where the caption read something like "I don't want to even get into it about this guy". No clue who the person was, he was wearing dark sunglasses, unidentified in the book. Anyone know what I'm talking about or who that person was? Idk it doesn't seem too outlandish to me. He was considered a pretty small guy even back then so why not toss on a dress before you kill a guy. The target is more likely to have their guard down and any witnesses will have an incorrect description to give the cops.
