HOENSBROEK - The police arrested two men on suspicion of involvement in a fatal shooting incident in Hoensbroek in Limburg in early August. A 45-year-old man from Hoensbroek and a 25-year-old man from Born were arrested Friday night, the police reported Saturday.
A 49-year-old resident of Hoensbroek was attacked on August 2 at the door of his home in Akerstraat Noord. Health workers found him badly injured in the street, but the victim could not be saved.

Former No Surrender world captain Henk Kuipers has been transferred to the EBI (Extra Secure Prison) in Vught. This confirms his lawyer Roy van der Wal. An anonymous tip was received by the police that there would be a risk of a flight.

The court in Amsterdam started today after a summer break of several months with the 31st session in the criminal proceedings against Willem Holleeder.

Two mocro gangsters Abdelhamid A. (28) alias "Frog" and Hicham M. (23) from Amsterdam were arrrested for the assassination of the 46-year-old Colombian APC in Spain. The attack in Mijas happened on August 19, 2016. His girlfriend, also of Colombian nationality, was seriously injured by five bullets. PC was hit by seven bullets.
Another suspect was Mitchell Jansen, who was himself liquidated at the end of 2016 in Colombia. This group of criminals counts the police to the group of Benaouf A. That group was involved in a feud with the group of Gwenette Martha (shot dead in 2014).

The justice system can make all the effort they want, but I don't think there's a type of criminal around that gives less of a fuck than the Antillean criminal. I know a guy - a mate of a mate of mine - who works as a probation officer in the Netherlands. From the stories he tells, it seems there's a distinct pattern when it comes to Antillean criminals (who are still small time when he comes into contact with them).
To make a comparison; with Moroccan criminals, a disproportionate amount of them are up to no good petty stuff when they're young, but once they get older - aside from a few ones who turn into big time career criminals - many of them leave the criminal life behind and rehabilitate pretty successfully.
With Antillean criminals it's a bit different. Most of them accept their punishment without any problem: they show up at the office always good humored, they fulfill their community service...and about 3 months after fulfilling their community service they get busted for the exact same thing they got caught for before. They show up at the parole office as equally good humored as before, accept their punishment once again without any protest whatsoever...and the cycle's repeated over and over. Many of them keep committing petty crimes and will keep on committing them until they're 65 years old, while another portion of them grow into serious big time career criminals. Considerably few of them rehabilitate; they just don't give a fuck.

True TKJ, they will always be street guys. In my town an 'Antillengemeente' I ran into them all the time. Years ago a pretty big rasta was extorting our coffeeshop swinging around with a gun they are often heavy drinkers and drug users. I knew the guys wife and her family who were dutch, but it was a pretty tense situation.

Couldn't agree more TKJ, although we are of course generalizing a lot, my experiences with a lot of Antillean criminals are nevertheless exactly the way you described it..

A lot your stories btw about your experiences with Moroccans, Antilleans etc. are often very relatable to me. I reckon we grew up in a similar neighborhood and circumstances..

I grew up in a former mining area. The communities I got into contact with the most are Italians and Turks and to a slightly lesser extent Greeks and Moroccans. It's very close to the Dutch border, so there's quite a few people from the Netherlands that live here (sometimes for a short period of time).

A certain part of the Antillean criminals have become pretty big though. At least bigger than I ever thought they would become. They move lots of cocaine - a few years ago there was a wok plaza in my area that was used as a front by a couple of Antilleans who lived right over the border. Now with the development of the Curaçao-based gangs that have made inroads into local politics and set up drug smuggling bases in "Antillengemeenten" in the Netherlands as well, one could almost say they have become to the Netherlands what the Yardies were to England in the late 80's/early 90's.

The group Anti´s returned a few times, but that stopped later. The owner who also came from Curaçao probably had to make a deal.

A coffeeshop in the Breestraat in Delft was shot on Sunday morning. The police closed the street for investigation. It is the same shop where a hand grenade exploded in front of the door a few months ago. Delft has recently been plagued by numerous violent incidents. In June, salvos were supposedly fired with automatic weapons at two stores on the Beestenmarkt and the Molslaan. Michael B., who is suspected of committing attacks with a grenade on coffeeshops in Delft in May of this year, had been convicted of the so-called Irish bath murder. The Irish Damien Monaghan and the brothers Vincent and Morgan Costello were shot dead.

Michael B. grew up in a world full of violence. In February 1987, B. is not yet 10 years old, his father is shot dead by a bodyguard of the Rotterdam gambling king Johan Bestebreurtje. That night Michael B. is in a flat in Scheveningen. Also present: Monnie, the Irish brothers Vincent and Morgan Costello and the 20-year-old Ronald van B. from Wassenaar. Under the influence of alcohol and coke, he is convinced that the Costello brothers want to kill him. B. shoot them a bullet in the head. Michael's best friend Monnie is unlucky to be on the firing line. He too finds death.

Michael B. and Ronald van B. try to calm down with xtc and rohypnol and order escort girls. They stay in the apartment for days. Then the corpses begin to stink. The two saw the bodies of the three victims in pieces and set the remains on fire in the bathtub. In the end, the police can only see how many bodies there were at the number of feet. A DNA match eventually leads the police to Michael B. In appeal he is sentenced to 16 years in prison plus tbs in 2002. Ronald van B., who would have stabbed Vincent Costello with a knife, gets 12 years in prison.

Michael B., now 41 years old, was arrested in Noordwijk in June of this year . In addition to the grenade attack on coffeeshops The Game and The Future in May 2018, he is also suspected of possession of weapons. Two others were arrested with him, a 22-year-old man who was sitting in the car next to him and a 30-year-old woman from The Hague; she is the widow of criminal Piet Pronk.

In Amsterdam-Zuid, someone was injured late Monday night with a shooting incident. The shots fell around 23.00 in the Rivierenbuurt. The police dropped off the street. A trauma helicopter was called but in the end the wounded left for a hospital by ambulance.
According to AT5 it is unknown how serious the injured person is. Rumors about an arrest have not been confirmed.

He is not officially suspected yet, but the Public Prosecutor in Amsterdam thinks he can find enough evidence that Richard R., aka Rico de Chilean, led a criminal organization that committed murders. The suspicious man, who was shot down by a motor police officer this morning in the Amsterdam Staatslieden district, appears to be Heineken kidnapper Frans Meijer (66).
One of the best-known underworld figures. Meijer is hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds in a hospital where he is guarded by the police. He was cared for by a trauma team after being shot in the Van Limburg Stirumstraat. The weapon that Meijer carried with him was recovered and confiscated.
