I hate all the commercials with the Burger King King. That dude freaks me out.

Adverts as we call them in England, are the most annoying things in the world. I don't watch TV anyway,so these days i don't have to deal with them..

I HATE the Kars-4-Kids commercial on SiriusXM radio

OMG, that is the worst...that drives me nuts.
I change the channel as fast as I can.

The Kars thing is awful, but it's been around so long that they must think it's working for them.

About the only commercials I like have animals in them. There's an ad now about a new puppy trying to get along with a cat. It's really schmaltzy, but they're cute.

Pete, you're probably old enough like many of us to remember some of the great commercials of the past. Just to start, I think that just about any of the Budweiser beer commercials of the 80s.

Hate? That's easy. For me, it seems to have more to do with characters I don't care for rather than the product itself.

Ha ha! TB, I remember it well and have a little story to go along with it. (There was another commercial, advertising the same product, involving a teacher in a classroom.)My little brother was in elementary school (forgot the grade) and on one day I assume the kids were acting up and the teacher scolded them or whatever, told them to be good. Well, my little brother Paulie says to the teacher "Teacher, Sure you got a headache but don't take it out on the children." The kids laughed and the teacher called my mom saying she too had to hold back the laughter but didn't want kids to think it was ok. We STILL tease him about it all these decades later.

Don't have time to get the links right now but off the top of my head, "I'd like to buy the world a coke" commercial stands out; and, tho not a sports fan at all, what about the "Mean Joe Green" ad with the little boy. I thought that was nice; AND on the humorous side, Joe Namath in nylons??? I forgot what the ad was for tho. Don't think it was for nylons was it?

TIS, I play the Coke commercial for my students, especially at Christmas time. I also play the Dr. Pepper commercials from back then.

I consider the Joe Greene commercial to be the best ever.

Oh yea, The Dr Pepper commercial was really good too. Every time I see an American werewolf in London I think of Dr Pepper 😂
