I just finished watching it for the second time as well. It's definitely not realistic, but I was entertained by it. Yeah you'd never have black guys doing business inside Satriale's lol
I just hope they leave the franchise alone, but it looks like they either wanna do a series or another movie
6/10 The Sopranos wasn't realistic, either. Tony, a boss, committing murders, making collections beating people, etc. There's a difference between "realism" and "reality". Realism only needs plausibility. Could this person do something like this, etc. Not whether some of their stature would do it, but just whether it's something they would do, personally. They have Tony killing people to show the audience how bad he is. Because much of the show includes his wife and children. If they never had him commit a murder, the audience would be left to wonder whether he really is that bad. Garroting someone on his daughter's college trip leaves no doubt. Just like they show Junior present for the Palmice hit. Not realistic, but shows the realism as to what Junior is capable of morally. He's not just some grouchy old man who runs a couple of unions and sports books. He's a killer.
"...the successful annihilation of organized crime's subculture in America would rock the 'legitimate' world's foundation, which would ultimately force fundamental social changes and redistributions of wealth and power in this country. Meyer Lansky's dream was to bond the two worlds together so that one could not survive without the other." - Dan E. Moldea

Many Saints really got hurt due to Covid and not having Terrence Winter on board. Another thing that it had going against it was that it was horrible and nothing more than fan service.

The movie pretty much sucked - that ugly broad from Italy started the mess - couldn't find a better looking woman? I've been to Italy and there are some great looking women there, poor job filling that roll. Plus no Italian woman in the '60's was going to fool around with a black man, no way in hell, no chance.
Injecting "wokeness" in this movie was a bad choice as well, could have done without any black actors in this film, they added zero to the plot.
Yeah, Little Pussy. You think he's going to fuck with Big Pussy? My Pussy? Tony Soprano, 1999
