That's just the way they do in Philly. When youre right youre right moe... altho some of the top guys like Mikey Lance, Uncle Joe, and Steve Mazzone seem to know not to literally detail ur crimes verbally outloud
"No, no, you aint alrite Spyder you got alotta fuckin problems"

This dude is made in Philly and had a yearly goal of pulling down $250k. And he was selling meth, H, and robbing armored trucks to get there. I gotta say....if you are almost 60 years old, I’m not sure I’d risk a 20 year prison sentence over $250k a year. Is $250k on par with what most made guys in a town like Philly bring in? That just seems a little on the low side to me. Its still so unbelieveble to me, 250k a year for a LA COSA NOSTRA member in the US?! Its sooooo soo little its sick.. We see all these moveis about Mafia etc and for a mobster to make only 250k a year? Its fucking crazy. Yes its much money but not when you deal with all the shit he dealt with. He is supposed to make that in a month, in US? 300 million people. Like i've said before its so crazy cause i know guys here in little fucking Sweden that makes those kind of money in like 5-6 months. And this mobster from the US had a goal of pulling down that in a year. But i guess its like that. I have a friend over here he used to sell weed and coke by the gram here where i live. He went to some city in Texas and lived there for a year, he got new friends who dealt with drugs and he said to me when he came back that it was Wierd how little they made. He was like "I made more money here when i was 15".

If you read the indictment the dude was running a business that lost money just for the IRS. He also had a new BMW and he even said he "liked to spend money". 250k a year for a soldier is big time. When that one acting boss flipped recently forget which one he guessed the average soldier made 50-60k a year so Joe Electric was actually doing very well.
what was sad was seeing that Carl guy, almost 80 years old pushing major weight. Will die in the can after just getting out. What was shocking was seeing how garbage the pressed 30s were. And then getting totally fake crystal. But then they eventually linked up right with the cartel and was getting literally Breaking Bad level meth. If the average soldier is making $50K-$60K, its no wonder the thing is allegedly on its last legs in the US. Risking long prison sentences for the same salary as an entry level sales job is beyond crazy.

Well that info is also 10 years old so 50-60 grand in the mid-late 00s is probably in the high 5 figures today. And entry level jobs are not 50k a year. Minimum wage is like $10-11 now. Even a $20 a hour job which is def not entry level is only 40k a year and thats taxed to oblivion. There are also perks that come with a button...protection against other criminals....access to drug connects, mafia loan shark rates that you can juice up etc.

If Michael gallichio is related to the vailsburg gallichio’s in Newark then he’s got a very interesting bloodline. When the gallichio’s were active in the vailsburg section of Newark they were rumored to be so out of control and into drugs the families wanted nothing to do with them. Monkey gallichio and his family were a pretty tough rough crew. Anyone know if there’s a connection? Yes, they are all related. Big drug dealing crew from back in the day. They were a farm team so to speak, just like the Campisi Family. His uncle Gerry "The Boot" was a made member in the Sicilian mafia. Well respected family in Newark.

Al the big mafia movie are focused in the 1960s to 1970s era when the mob was more powerful and there was more opportunity to make money, now is different and anyway in oc groups there are members that made tons of $$$ and members that are broke. Not all made men are able to run a white collar racket but are street thugs that sell dope on the streets or break legs to the people that dont pay the vig. The philly family in it some aspects is more like a little bit organizated street gang then a crime family.

And has someone who worked in sales and has several friends that did the same, $50k is a pretty standard entry level expected salary/commission for a sales job. And your math is way off. $50,000 in 2008 is roughly the equivalent of $59,000 in 2019.

And your math is way off. $50,000 in 2008 is roughly the equivalent of $59,000 in 2019. It was little Joe deFede who said it. " While testifying against Gambino crime family boss Peter Gotti, DeFede exclaimed that all he made during his reign as acting boss was $1,014,000, or approximately $250,000 per year. DeFede also estimated that a low ranking family soldier would make on average $50,000 per year" Peter Gotti trial was early 00s, and he DeFede said low ranking soldier would average 50k.In 2004 50k is equal to 67k now. And not every mafia soldier can be a salesman. Nearly 70k a year for a low ranking soldier tax free is not chump change. The people who get into Cosa nostra are not college graduates who have great people skills for the most part. Average person without a degree is making ~30k a year. Over double that is Pretty hefty.

You serious? That's a lot of money for a made guy to be pulling in, especially in this day and age. I believe it was Tommy Del who said something like, "If we had 60 guys in our outfit, 40 of them were always broke."

Hi They "making 50k" cause they want they envelopes going upstairs to seem fair. Not the case. I seen guys in Philly spend more a year on pussy and cigarettes. Everyone go to 9th and Fitzwater and check out best pizza spot in South Philly at Angelos Pizza. Faffys son in law Dannys spot in the old Sarcones Deli. He was in Haddonfield but moved to Italian Market. The best you ever seen. You guys need to see the cars the Philly guys drive the kind of money they spend out and about, I’ll second that. Yes, Angelo’s Pizza is amazing by Philly Pizza standards and Faffy is always there. Getting close to summer here at the Jersey Shore..... Nicodemo was driving a Honda and he was supposed to be a heavy hitter. Aside from Grande who has a BMW none of these guys are driving around South Philly in expensive luxury cars to my knowledge. This isn’t like 30 years ago, now they all have to be low key and if they are making good cash can’t spend it or they will attract attention. I look on social media since I’m a friend or follower of many of the guys who are hanger ons of these guys and it looks to me like they are living life much better because they have legit jobs and if they are doing anything it’s on such a small scale. These guys are all over social media, posting expensive shoes they bought, jewelry, vacations, cars they can justify buying... it seems to me crone does not pay just to have respect within a few square miles of the city.
