If he even knew the niece it would have been a theory or motive. Then he'd be charged with 1st degree If it's about the niece (first they said daughter) why would Cali behave the way he did. He probably hadn't a clue who Comello was. i agree why he would shake hands with some guy he bump his car while his car was parking outside of his home and that guy was the person who date his niece when he told him to stay away from her !?!? sounds too weird i think that there is something else here...

Why would a mob wannabe kill a boss? Not only ending his mob career before it starts, but giving himself a certain death sentence to boot. You'd think it would be the other way around, that he would kill someone who disrespected Cali, like the kid in Mean Streets did.
I still think it's the niece.
The MAGA stuff, well, let's be honest, it's not like this is totally out of the norm today. I agree. If Comello were a wannabe mobster he would have given Cali an envelope full of money rather than a bullet.

So the Frankie boy hit wasn't mob sanctioned. That crazy kid that was tied up with his niece some how.

Comello gave several conflicting accounts about what happened, but he did say he feared for his life.
I don't know if the self defense thing will work, considering Comello went to Cali's house armed with a 9mm. And pulled into Cali's driveway hitting Cali's car.

The George Zimmerman defense. Somehow simultaneously defending yourself while following someone I know. Crazy, isn't it?

It's not just social media emboldening crazy people. Leaders at the highest levels are doing it. Except incidents featuring one of the people I mentioned happened under the previous presidential regime, not to mention Sandy Hook etc, etc. But turn what I said into a political post anyway, even though that stuff is supposed to be off limits...

I was turning what you said into a factually correct argument. Social media isn't the biggest culprit when it comes to enabling mental illness and violent threats. There are leaders at high levels doing it. So Obama is somehow responsible for Sandy Hook, Anders Breivik and James Holmes then? Or are you just using my original comment as another way to take a shot at the current president? Even though political comments have been prohibited for a reason. If you're going to co-opt other people's comments in order to make a political point be consistent at the very least.

I'm pointing out the inaccuracies in your comment. Social media is not the biggest culprit in enabling mental illness and violence today. Nor is any kind of media. There are leaders at the highest levels doing it. That's your opinion. It doesn't make it right. The bottom line is my original comment had nothing to do with political discourse, which has been prohibited on this site, but here you are co-opting another person's comment to make a political point anyway. If you want to talk politics there are plenty of other forums to do it on.

I was correcting your inaccuracy. You said that social media is responsible for enabling mental illness and violent behavior. They share only a small percentage of the blame when you consider actual leaders are doing it as well. You're clearly trolling. Someone "pushing someone off a bridge" and seriously maiming or killing them for "social media likes" has absolutely nothing to do with politics. Political discourse has been prohibited on this website. Point to me where my original comment had anything to do with politics. You are stirring up shit for the sake of it.

Responding to an argument is not trolling. Maybe I'm getting trolled...
And, for the umpteenth time, I was correcting your inaccuracies about social media. In an age where leaders at the highest levels are enabling mental illness and violence, social media, or media of any kind, share only a fraction of the blame. I asked you to point out anywhere in my original comment where I made a political post, which are prohibited on this forum, and predictably you've failed to do it. You are breaking forum rules and trolling. Mass shootings that happen in Norway and New Zealand have more to do with European politics and socio-culturalism than the American president or American politics. People pushing others off bridges and attacking people for social media attention, likes and tweets has nothing to do with the American president or American politics. Grow up.

I can't identify any forum rules I've broken, although I will accept any moderator's intervention and/or action.
I'm not sure about your assessment of European mass shootings, either. Granted, I don't live there, but I've read opinions by proven experts in the region that seem to be much more informative and nuanced then yours, and they would disagree.
I'm not sure why people push others off of bridges. Social media? Did these things happen before social media? Teenagers have always been crazy. Not sure what your obsession with social media is all about, but to blame it for a violent culture and widespread mental illness when we have leaders enabling the very same thing is quite a stretch.
I'm trying to grow up, but I'm young at heart.

I post every comment as if it were my last anyway. Yes. You are clearly committing an act of forum seppuku. As anyone can see,
