Its because Joe has the juice on the street. Stevie Lancia is his uncle and patch member. He owns a condo building in Providence where alot of the members take residency. I asked the same question way back when about how young he is to be a president. What I heard was he went after a rival gang from out of state. Tuned them up pretty good. And caught the attention of a major California chapter. So he's got huge backing.

Joe, it is in a way. But TBH, in my opinion, the Rhode Island chapter is thin. The Pagans are breathing down their necks here. The word I get about RI is that their stuck in the past. They're trying to get younger. However, whats crazy about Joe is that believe or not he comes from a very wealthy family. His family was in the styrofoam business. It makes you wonder why hes even bothering with this. But to answer your point, he's feared and respected. He's not a small kid. And the one thing people in the " know" say about him, is that he's someone who's " willing to go the distance".

I can only speak for RI. But the chapter in Providence has always been thin. And they've been stuck in their ways as far as inducting new members. I've been told the chapter members are older in age and Joe is trying to get new younger blood to match what the Pagans are doing in RI. They're gaining ground in the northern part of the state into MA.

Thanks for the info bro and I could be wrong but I heard somewhere that the outlaws have set up shop in Rhode Island too. Do those clubs all get along or do they get into it if they ever see each other. Rhode Island doesn’t seem like that big of a place to have 3 big name MC’s.

Yes they have set up shop here. I mention the Pagans because if you look at what happened last summer, the New Jersey chapter wanted to expand into RI. And they did by setting up the drug network. And that led to the big bust over the summer in Woonsocket . And I asked friends in the know and there wasn't a whiff of any 81 activity on wiretap. Which they thought was strange. But TBH I haven't heard much on the Outlaws.

Yes Outlaws are established. Pagans were new. The club that kid ran in Woonsocket was patched over to the Pagans. I was talking in relation to how the Angels in RI stack up again those other two.
