5 months ago Anthony Comello  killed gambino boss Frank Calì because Calì ordered him to dont engage his nephew.
But what happened from then? He in solitary because the gambinos wanted him dead? The gambinos put a "contract" on his head?

The family hired a high powerd attorney. Its a open n shut case. But theres is a butt. Maybe since frank calis family is so uncooperative with the police his attorney gets him a good plea deal. I dont even think his family will go to court and give victim impact statements, they probaly dont even answer the district attorneys phone calls. They wouldnt turn over the surveillance tapes to the police untill they got a warrant. Who knows maybe the kid gets 10 15yrs. But its such a high profile case it gets a bunch of press it will put the da name it the papers but what if he loses

Most government employees’ (proscecutor, cos, cops) greatest fear is finding themselves on the front page of any newspaper. Wherever this coward gets sent he will be protected and kept in PC because of this. Something still doesn’t sit right with me. How come the police havnt come forward with a definite motive yet? There still hasn’t been any real answers. The kids older brother was arrested for tying up a lady and beating her face in. Which doesn’t mean much but he def had a criminal mind. It will all come out at trial. I think he was just a nutjob. I dont think it had anything to do with a niece. It was just a line in one of the papers that said a police source said and every paper in the country ran with it. Will see. Then again maybe he takes 15 with a chance of parole

I think that Commello had been warned not to see the girl anymore and he thought that since the girl was the nephew of what is believed to be the Gambinos boss, thought he should kill Calì before he ordered someone to kill him.
The reasoning is twisted, but Commello has proven not to be particularly intelligent.

For one the girl would be Cali's NIECE, not his nephew. For two I seriously doubt Cali would have killed the kid if that niece story is even true. If anything they throw him a beating and get the point across. For three we're not even sure the niece story is even legit. For four the retarded/mentally unstable shit is just a defense before he even goes to trial. Makes potential jurors think he is truly crazy.

m2w, I think he truly has a few screws loose but they're DEFINITELY playing this angle to try and get him off or get him a cushy place to stay the rest of his life. I truly think his lawyer (I can't remember if he had one yet) at his preliminary hearing told him to write all that shit on his hand. It's a good move to help prove the "crazy" by writing MAGA and all that other b.s. on his hand. Potential jurors are always watching the news! The only thing is better is jurors seeing that on t.v. and then ending up at the trial already influenced. Yes they'll ask the jurors if they ever seen any of this on t.v. but with people these days wanting book deals as jurors and what not, you think they're going to tell the truth?
