Do you think the American Cosa Nostra needs to start wacking people to regain some respect and power

It still happens sometimes but obviously nothing like the 80s and 70s and before that. Its much harder to get away with now with all the technology and DNA evidence

Respect from who? From the street gangs?the bikers? The American mafia isnt a street gang or a cartel that must kill someone enter in its territory,plus risk for every murder that someone would flip and made more damages.
I think that the mob still kill but hide the bodies. Maybe should do like some camorra clan that had a "firing gruop" that are used only to carry out the murders.

I think they are more interested in earning money than killing. I am sure many of them are still capable, though.

I heard there is some movie "the Irishman" about mob??? Looks compelling.
