It has a pretty great Scorsese like story, the gameplay is kind of repetitive, but I really like it so far

I liked Mafia 2 but I couldn't get past one level after about 50 attempts so I gave up.

i liked 2. gonna grab 3 soon, it looks incredible but i've read that it's kinda buggy right now.

This guy I work with plays beats games then gives them to me to play so hopefully in the next few weeks I can give it a shot, my PS4 controller has a nice layer of dust no good game have come out for a while, I am pretty excited for this one

I don't enjoy playing video games as much. It's harder to maintain a slim frame. My face is getting fatter. My back aches like a motherfucker. I'm getting all crotchety.

I'm getting old.

Great story, Great soundtrack. The problem is they are counting on the DLC, greedy bastards. They took away a lot things that made Mafia 2 great, and are putting those into the DLC to make more money. Those things should have already been in the game upon release.

I didnt like the story.
I think that they needed to stay with the classic italian mobster protagonist.

the story is absolute top! the end missions are good too but the actions you have to do before each final mission gets repetitive. Story wise on same level as Mafia 2 and behind Mafia 1, the game itself is 3 behind the second and first

I think it ranks first for the simple fact its not as linear as the first two and is the first of its name to be a true open world game. The side quests do get repetitive though.

I really hope for a mafia 4 game that takes place on the 80s !

I'm a bit late with the games, but just loaded up this one. I would have preferred an Italian mafia looking character, not a black guy, seeing as its a mafia game - it wasn't a hit, possibly for that reason. There's also a long statement/disclaimer to cover the developers ass at the start about how derOgatory the language is (in case we end up turning racist I suppose) which is annoying and condescending.

It's another obvious PC attempt, a bit frustrating, but decent game. Everyday, normal black guys must hate this kind of shit as well I guess.

It looks good though so we'll see!

I'm playing the game and yes the are good music and the storyline is nice but in the long run the game becomes repetitive, I would have preferred it to be possible than I know as in Godfather II where you made your own gang and maybe give order to someone to do the job but you must conquest the place,take the money ecc I don't think that the game would be a GTa in the 1960s New Orleans and yes is open world but apart from collecting playboys and other magazines, modifying the cars in the game apart from the missions there is nothing else to do and the city seems empty.
And come on a black man that defeat the mob in the 1960s,in the racist south.

i hope they will make mafia 4 and that it's going to be like 2
