EXTREMELY entertaining with one of the best cast assembled I just recently rented this and watched it again. It was the Director's Cut, which had about 17 extra minutes not seen in the original. They really add to the movie, IMO. I forgot how much this movie made me think. And Irishman, you're right, the cast is top notch, even the lesser-known actors/actresses. John Candy, Joe Pesci, Kevin Bacon, & Donald Sutherland, not to mention Wayne Night, were all great. And isn't it funny that Wayne Night's character is also "Newman" in JFK?

Yeah, I always laugh at that when he says "Newman turn it up." It is such a GREAT movie and it does make you think. I'm glad you rented it and enjoyed it. Is it in your top 10 yet?
Yep, see my previous posts. Actually, this was my favorite film for a long time. It's been replaced by the first Godfather, but I would still rate it in my Top 5. Irishman, if you had to single out 1 or 2 scenes, which is/are your favorite(s)? For me, the Donald Sutherland "X" scene is one, along with the one where Costner takes his boys on a "walking tour" before deciding to go back into the case.
Never saw Wyatt Earp. I've only seen some clips and from what I've seen, the guy who plays Doc Holiday SUCKS compared to Val Kilmer's portral of the character in Tombstone. Which one's better and does anyone think Wyatt Earp is even worth watching? I know it's a lot longer than Tombstone
Well IMHO Val Kilmer does a much better job of portraying Doc Holiday that Dennis Quaid did in Wyatt Earp. Overall Tombstone is better. Wyatt Earp starts out just about the end of the Civil War, when Wyatt earp is just a teenager so for that reason I think Wyatt Earp is still worth watching.

That is definitely in my all-time Top 10, so it definitely belongs on this list. I would nudge off Cape Fear, the Insider or Shawshank in favor of Apollo 13.
