Well, my list may be a little different than the others, I don't know. I actually looked up lists of movies released in the 90's so I wouldn't leave one out. Still don't think I got them all, but here goes: In no particular order Silence of The Lambs Titantic JFK The Fugitive Misery Shawshank Redemption The Sixth Sense Cape Fear Speed Primal Fear A few that maybe not "award" winning, but among my very favorites nonetheless: Die Hard (2& 3 were out in the 90's) but I love the series Lethal Weapon (espcially the first 2) Con Air, Sleeping With The Enemy, Unlawful Entry, Falling Down, End of Days, Heart & Souls. Recently I saw "Turbulence" with Ray Liotta on tv, and I really liked that one too. TIS

I don't know how much you followed up on your own, but from what I read, a lot of what Garrison claimed was discredited. I still like the movie, but I have read in several sources about multiple inaccuracies in the film. I know the book had stuff about the characters played by John Candy, Joe Pesci, Jack Lemmon, and Kevin Bacon. One thing I found interesting - Garrison was not at the Clay Shaw trial regularly, as portrayed in the movie. The real Jim Garrison portrayed Chief Justice Earl Warren in the film (a brief scene making a statement about Oswald). The "JFK" book was good, but sometimes hard to follow. The guy had so much information that it was difficult to keep everything straight. I read it over 10 years ago, but I seem to remember something in the book similar to the scene where X is told to stand down from Dallas and go to the North Pole as a military escort. You can

I12, no I'm afraid I have not read either of those books, I have mostly seen documentaries. I have read "Murder In Dealy Plaza" however, and it was very very interesting to say the least. I am surprised to see that along with JFK, a few of you have included "Falling Down", which was not that popular of a movie, but I think the acting was great as was the story. TIS

I saw the 2-Disc special edition Shawshank Redemption DVD in Wal-Mart today. I was soooooo close to buying it, but I've already bought two DVDs this week ( Saw and Fight Club). So I said I'll wait til Monday!

Speaking of Shawshank Redemption, I never saw that movie at the theater. I had heard of the title only, but had no clue whatsoever by the title, what it was about. I really liked it and have seen it a few more times. TIS
