His girlfriend was a Miss America contestant, a Miss South Carolina, I think ....typical pagaent queen. Yes, quite a pair. Unfortunately, they don't get alot of air time since they are usually coming up towards the end of the race alot. There has only been 2 races/eliminations so they may get more face time in the coming episodes. You should watch the show if only for the exotic locations they go to and the challenges they face.
