Overrated was def a poor choice of words. He obviously pissed the goverment off enough for them to plant article about him being informant after his death. And if u last from Murder Inc to Gotti and die in your own bed in the life you won period. Yes. The same government who were obligated to warn John Gotti - perhaps the most wanted mobster of all time - about plots to murder him from rival families planted an article about Neil Dellacroce being an informant. Of course. The truth is out there.
I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

If he was wouldnt it make sense for the Feds to get info on most successful boss in history of American lcn and use it to put him in jail. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion but if Feds had Mr Neil then y not bring down the biggest trophy in American history?

Nhe was well respected as a street guy but was constantly under indictment and surveillance. That's it in a nutshell. And, he was in prison for tax evasion when Carlo died. Carlo and Castellano avoided prison by being careful. Tough to run a big family from prison and/or when every law enforcement agency is on your ass. 100% agree. Timing is everything in that life.

Why did Johnny Roberts get hit? (even if Gambino didn't have anything to do with it, Ribolotto was out the way)
