You didn't know any of the songs, DB? The fact that I knew all of them really makes me feel old. Maybe if Nadia and Anwar sang "Endless Love" you'd feel more at home?

At least Ruben had a teddy bear quality about him. If I had to name a toy that Scott reminds me of, it would have to be a Chuckie doll.

Constantstink was on the dating show Eliminate a while back...he actually won the date, I have seen previews of the show but not the whole thing although I understand they are running reruns on syndicated TV all the time...

Ladies, would you date this:

Looking at that pic the next song Constantine should sing is, "Because I got high, because I got high, because I got high".

AI Talk - I'm there. --->

More overall talent on the men's side than the women's side this year. Not to say a female won't win but I think as a group the men have better singers. My 2c on the men are that Anwar and Bo are the two best. Anthony who I actually think is pretty good but is a step below. Scott is really not a bad singer but he is not winning. Nikko I liked a lot until last night and Contancrap I didn't like but he was good last night.

From the females - Nadia and Carrie are the best singers. I am really starting to like Jessica more now but she and Vonzell although good are not in the same group as Nadia and Carrie. Lyndsey and Mykala are the first two females to go. Mykala or however you spell her names is like The Nanny on steroids. I am in the half that Simon says finds her terribly annoying. She is like fingernails on a blackboard to me.

Regarding who gets the boot - it should be either Mykala or Nikko based on performance but I think Lyndsey will go, not much of a fan base and really can anyone be more boring while singing? What was up with Nikko though, he really didn't sound good last night at all I think and I have liked him in the past.

I think Paula is in love with Nikko and I think Ryan in love with Carrie ?

My guess in the AI Pool - Lyndsey goes, but hoping it's The Nanny.

I think Simon is in love with Carrie. No, wait, Simon is in love with Bo.

I think Nikko just got props for being back, and putting a song together in one day. (As we all know the show was taped Monday. I think he chose his song just because of the message in it. But I'm with Simon. He didn't sound good at all last night. Maybe jetlag, lack of preparation, or both. My pick to go is Mikalah, Lindsey or Constantine. Anthony, while boring, is a better singer then some. Which isn't saying much. Maybe now that they're all grouped together, I just don't think the men have been running away with it like they have. Or maybe I'm just going through Mario withdrawel.

I agree with the bottom 3 tonight. They were definately the worst. I think everyone can guess who I hope hits the road.

Anyone ever see the reality show called "New York Nick"? I beieve that it is on the STYLE channel. This show is hilarious! I am by no means a reality show fan, but this one deserves to be on National TV!

I agree with you Beth. I've only seen a couple shows this season including yesterdays. I think America voted off the right person. Hopefully Makala(sp) will get booted next week.

Mikalah's days are numbered. I don't think America is that toned deaf. I think After Mikalah it should be Jessica and then Anthony.

Although I wasn't crazy about Lindsay's performance, I do think that she at least had potential to grow as a performer. Mikalah, on the other hand, is just plain bad. I hope that they all do something better next week.

I don't even know how Mikalah made it to the show at all. She should have been booted at her audition. Maybe the producers are just trying to find "personality" to the show, so people will not find it boring and stay away.

Ex-'Idol' Hires Clay's Lawyer, Releases Album

"Personal reasons" be damned. The secret is out (and so is the album).

Mario Vasquez, the guy who quit "American Idol" suddenly last week, has been "Clay-ed," or is that "Ai-way-kened?"

He's hired Clay Aiken's high-powered record-industry lawyer. And he may have jeopardized his "amateur" status by being featured on an album that's already been released.

Vasquez, I've learned, has gotten Atlanta entertainment lawyer Jess L. Rosen to represent him. Coincidentally — or not, depending on how you look at it — Rosen is most famous for extricating Aiken from his octopus-tentacled "American Idol" management contract with Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment last year.

Unbeknownst to anyone, Mario is featured on an album that was originally released last May and had a re-release this week, according to Amazon.com. He sings several pop songs as the only guest vocalist on "Worlds of Change," by an Argentine flamenco and R&B guitarist named Cesar.

The whole thing, which sounds like Santana with a younger, more sanctimonious Michael Jackson, can be heard on this Web site. My guess is some enterprising record exec will pick up the whole thing from Los Angeles-based Darque Records and release it under Mario's name.

Someone else will have to decide if that CD violated the "American Idol" rules. The show's Web site states: "In order to be eligible, the contestants are not permitted to have any CURRENT recording or talent-management agreements."

In leaving the show, Vasquez was obviously convinced of the value of bowing out now rather than continuing through the needless process of competition. Aiken would be his role model.

After losing "American Idol" to Ruben Studdard, Aiken realized that he was stuck with a management contract that kept him with Fuller, the show's owner, for years to come at a very high commission.

Rosen got him out of it and moved him over to Jeff Kwatinetz's behemoth agency, The Firm.

The result is that there is now nary a mention of the lovable, Barry Manilow-like Aiken on the "American Idol" Web site, except for unflattering pictures of him in his pre-makeover nerd days. Ouch!

So I guess it's fairly clear that Mario's "personal reasons" were specifically about the money he could make if he bolted the show before being indebted to them legally and financially for a couple of years.

Rosen, who did not return calls, prides himself on negotiating contracts for artists, according to his Web site.

As for Mario, he's also now using Susan Blond for public-relations help. She's the famous PR lady who once made Michael Jackson's "Thriller" a hit.

Next will come rumors that Mario's been signed for management by Tommy Mottola and for recording by Sean Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment at Warner Bros.

No one confirms or denies this, but either way, Rosen will be racking up the billable hours keeping Vasquez out of court once Fuller realizes what's happened.

Maybe that's what happened to Justin??? NOT!!!

I was going to disagree with Bethie earlier stating she thought America got it right with the bottom 3...

As much as I have to shield my eyes whenever Jessica is on TV (can you say white trash??) her rendition of "Broken Wing" a few weeks ago was one of the best vocals of that night. She has a great voice but needs to escape the whole bar-room-I-bet-I-can-drink-you-under-the-table-before-I-go-home-to-my-double-wide image. The girl has a set of pipes but she has since picked icky songs to perform.

I'm sorry, I don't want to see the trailer trash prevail this year. We already had Mantasia last year....

Now Bo is another story...I thought the leather pants look was hot Monday night. The I-borrowed-my-sister's-straighting-iron look last night was in Simon's words: "GHASTLY"!

I did not know Bo had on leather pants. You have a good eye their Dolce!!!

Why I would have rather had Constantine in the bottom 3 I think his performance Tuesday was better then Jessica. I guess it depends on a person's taste in music whether they think someone had a good voice. While I don't hate Rueben, I don't think he had that powerful of a voice.

I wonder how many of today's music icons would fair on this show. Stevie Nicks and Boby Dylan are superstars, but I personally don't think either of them can sing a lick. I think they invented the term "pitchy".

I predicted the bottom 3 to be Lindsay, Mikaylah and Scott with Lindsay getting the boot. Scott has a decent tone to his voice but he can sing one type of song and he runs out of breath if he has to cross a part of the stage. Don't know who his fans really are.

Sooooo true. I mean, seriously....how DID Britney Spears get a music contract? All smoke and mirrors. No vocal ability there. All image. So okay, call her a "pop" star.

Sidebar: I really wish American Idol would change to the format where America voted out the WORST performer each week. That would be much easier than trying to vote for your favorite. I think it would help the better singers advance instead of splitting votes between them.

Yeah, if only Britney would have gone on AI. America would be without that little pop tart.

I like your format change idea. The phone companies would probably run into major back up problems with the floods of calls for the "worst". After all, they surely outnumber the best. Besides Bo, Nadia and Anwar no one is really a standout star.

I like The Apprentice right now.

Was really into 'Survivor' 1st and 2nd seasons...but have not had an interest since then.

Have seen bits & pieces of 'Amazing Race'...looks interesting and the fact that it won an Emmy makes it tempting. But I don't really care to get hooked at this time. So I'll stay away.

Never had the slightest interest in American Idol.
Never will.

Am looking forward to Martha Stewart's show, though....
