Bethie, I know you are a big Carrie-Okie fan - and I am not denying the girl's got some pipes - but she is like a robot! Simon says "IT FACTOR"??? I couldn't disagree more. Great vocals but zip personality and showmanship.
My favorites disapointed me - bad song choices all around. I am scared for Nadia but she should have been able to pick songs better suited for her. Same with Jessica - that was the best LeeAnn Rimes song for her???? Anwar had the best song pick of the night - one of THE most inspirational hits of the 90's - and he fell flat 'till the end (Simon was right on in his critique of this guy...)
Bo? He has enough rabid fans to get him through. Would have loved to hear him sing Shawn Mullins "Lullaby" or some Pearl Jam if he wanted to show off his rocker side. He would OWN a 3 Doors Down tune!
Nikko did a great job on Tevin Campbell and I especially liked his Comeback Kid jacket. The underdogs prevailed - even Constanstink didn't butcher up Bonnie Raitt and one of my favorite songs TOO BAD but it wasn't as good as the judges all said.
Vonzell tackling THE toughest Whitney song there is? Whew! Gutsy. And that girl gets more gorgeous with each week.
Who I WANT to see in the bottom 3? Scott, Anthony and Constantine with a farewell to Scott.
Who I THINK will be in the bottom 3? Scott, Anthony and Anwar and a buh-bye to ScottytheBody
Film at 11. (Or in my case in the Southwest...8pm)
I have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve - I have a history of taking off my shirt.....
