Vito Guzzo was the leader of the giannini crew. Very violent. However, all of those crews had a bunch of violent but brainless guys. Im talking dumb and many used crack cocaine. Tommy Reynolds was a total crackhead. Ironically, the made guys that did take their money had absolutely no intention of making them, they were much too violent and reckless. The made guys would always lead them on as if they would be proposed but it never happened. Thats what happened to Gulino. Although some made money, they only made it through very violent, high risk crimes such as home invasions, armed robberies, a d drug dealing. The shelf life for those kinds of crimes are very short and most made guys know this. They dont want that kind of heat. Depending on the scale of operation, some turn a blind eye to drugs but the ither reckless cowboy shit brings in too much heat. Thise guys always end up dead or cooperating. Bad news.

most reckless/violent today are still bonanno and colombo? yes but the violence is much less now due to camera’s, law enforcenent technology, and heavy sentences. back in the 1990’s, the violence was confined to NYC, particularly south brooklyn and queens. new jersey never had crews like that for some reason. even though jersey had all 5 crews, the younger guys just werent violent. killing was rare. in fact, jersey never had bath ave or giannini type crews.

I feel like Matush was more hardcore than all of them.

There were so many of those "three letter crews" too.
DMS, TMR, and many others. Some of these crews (like the two I mentioned) were extremely heavy in the 90's.
Wouldn't be surprised if LCN plucked a few of these guys.
DMS was Doc Marten Skins TMR was The Master Race

The Colombos had the Bay Parkway Boys and the Wimpy Boy Social Club. I read about them, headed by Tommy Shots Gioeli back in the early 90s. Few of them became made though but snitched.
