The fourth section of the Palermo Court of Appeal increased the sentence to Giuseppe Greco , accused of four extortions and now found guilty of all, while at first instance in two cases he had been acquitted. The sentence carries the sentence from 9 years and 6 months to 14 years and 8 months.

The trial was celebrated with the ordinary rite, while the other defendants chose the abbreviated. Greco is brother of Carlo, sentenced to life imprisonment for the massacres and for some murders of the 80s (Tempesta trial).
