I'm curious as to why they don't consider disqualifying Scott from the competition...is it because it is from so long ago? Is it because he plead to a lesser charge? I heard on the radio that he DID disclose his record before the show, but not sure.

The reason I am curious is didn't they disqualify Corey Clarke in the middle of Season 2 for some kind of domestic fracas involving his sister?

From what I read it is because he stated this on his application or whatever so the show was aware of it. The other guy that was kicked off apparently lied on the application saying there was never any past criminal activity.

It's funny cause DB told me in a PM that he doesn't even see what the problem was - so he threw a phone at his girlfriend who just gave birth to their son 3 weeks earlier - where is the crime in that ?

Due to an incredibly sore back, I spent most of the weekend lying on my couch watching TV. I caught up to the Amazing Race by watching the 4 episodes that I missed. I think it was Buffy who said it - this show will lose a lot if/when Amber and Rob are out of the show. Most of the dynamic is built on how well they are doing and how the other competitors are responding to them.

I caught a news story saying that an internet gambling site has stopped taking bets on this season's Amazing Race. The winner on the Amazing Race, unlike Survivor or American Idol who wait until a final "live" episode to determine its winner, is already known since all the shows are pre-taped. The site stopped taking bets as one of the couples started to get a significant amount bets its way. This type of thing has actually happened a few times - the most recent, I think, was with The Bachelorette - and in all cases, the site was correct to stop taking bets because the ones getting the bets eventually won, proving the leak was legitimate.

I'll spare you other watchers the details. I wish I hadn't read it.

Not sure who I feel less love for of the Final Nine - Scott or Anthony. Scott usually sings well, but is a little bit too scary to be our next AI. Anthony is cute and has a nice voice, but zzzzzzzzzzz. I loved Anwar in the beginning, but he's been a snooze lately, too. My admiration for Vonzell has grown, as has my love for Nikko and Bo. Carrie has a very nice voice, but as mentioned previously, we need to get rid of that deer-in-the-headlights thing that she does when performing.

Whooo - AI Talk

Maybe it is just me - but I am probably the only one that kind of liked her 'fro because all that hair takes away from her face, and with the fro going it made her face stand out more. I actually think she is pretty.

But unless someone really screws up tonight or Scott just sets some incredible performance - it will probably be his time.

And although not reality TV but for those that watch the show '24' - it was really good last night - I need to go and find that thread somewhere.

I have to believe that Scott will be the one to go, but he's never been in the bottom three. Why, I don't know, especially after last week's performance. And Constantstink also seems to skate by, although he was decent last week.

As for Nadia, I love her look. She seems very content to be who she is, although I did not like the FroHawk. As Simon has said, she may not have the best voice, but she knows how to project to the audience and give a performance. Sort of this season's George Huff (I loved George). I really don't understand why she's been in the bottom three the past two weeks.

Of course, the same idiots who vote this season voted off LaToya last year in favor of - gag - Jasmine.

I've said it before - Nadia is probably the most attractive one remaining. Most exotic look to her, although she does need to go out and eat a meal. I have to believe she's going to run into problems sooner or later. You know things aren't going overly well when her COMPLIMENTS always begin with "Although you don't have the best voice..."

Unfortunately I thought Carrie lost some luster last night as well. I was surprised by Constantine. Maybe he should stay mellow and leave the rocking to Bo. Anwar was good, but not as great as usual. My daughter was home, and she also loves Anwar, but thought he was pitchy in some spots. While I think Nadia and Vonzell were good no one really won me over.

Bottom 3 have to be Scott, Anthony and Carrie. But that's just me.

PS..don't shoot me, but I did vote for Constantine last night. I think his voice was strong and showed potential.

Leaving all negative bias aside, Constantine did well last night. Two weeks in a row for him. Maybe Randy Jackson is right - all this rocker stuff was probably a ploy and in reality, he's a Broadway music-trained thespian. Brilliant if that was really the case. Got him attention, didn't it.

Well so much for our inside reporter. :rolleyes: I am all set for traveling songs only to get 'showtunes'. I think it was clear last night why this was not done before. Probably one of the most boring shows I can remember. So Buffy will need to step up her game to continue being the AI Reporter, we cannot continue to get erroneous information. We are not used to Buffy being wrong - I am often wrong but the pedestal that we so proudly look up to Buffy with (especially if she is wearing a skirt :p ) is a bit unsteady this week. She'll need to pick up her game next week.
