I saw the first episode last night and going to watch episode 2 tonight. So far so good. Really dig Jason Bateman so I was excited when viewing the trailer. The potential's there for this to be a great show.

Thanks for the recommendations Giacomo. DON'T BREATHE and CABIN IN THE WOODS I've seen and need second viewings of (they're on my list). GERALD'S GAME and BABADOOK I wasn't a big fan of after seeing them once and don't have much of a desire to sit through again (although BABADOOK I probably owe it since it has been so well received). THE BLACKCOAT'S DAUGHTER I've likewise seen but was forgettable to me. DAS LETZTE SCHWEIGEN I've never heard of.

Yes HBO. Gritty show with a good atmosphere to it. Characters all fleshed out after just two episodes. Should've watched it sooner.

Garret Dillahunt has a small part in it. Guy cracks me up in anything he's in.

I need a good snowstorm to slow everything down and then I bindge watch a bunch of stuff.

Help me find this:

There is a video of Soul Train line dancing to Alicia Bridges I love the Nightlife. I can't locate it. The one distinct thing I remember about it is that there is a dancer in it doing the Robot. There's another guy in it who's is carrying a cane.

Now, there are several Youtube et al similar videos out there and I've reviewed many of them. However, they are not the one I'm looking for.

I'll be checking this out. FX's first documentary deals with the Zodiac killer in a part 4 series. All airing on March 6. And if you haven't done so already, check out 2007's ZODIAC as well (fantastic film!)

I was watching the new TV version...... its been on for a few years now and winding down.

Watched JOJO RABBIT yesterday and GREEN BOOK today. Thought of you DP while watching GREEN BOOK as I know you like it. I'd never seen either before but enjoyed both very much! Would watch them again.

I Am Not Okay with This is a Netflix original. I've watched its first seven episodes and really like it. It's about a teenage girl who discovers that she has telekinetic powers. I recommend it.

After finishing up OZARK on Netflix (GREAT season by the way), yesterday I started TIGER KING on Netflix. Never heard of it before but it’s the #1 most watched show on Netflix so I’m giving it a shot. Watched 3 episodes last night and should have it finished today.

Just rewatched ROSEMARY’S BABY. Wow, never enjoyed it as much ever. Really a dark but well done tale. Tomorrow is THE EXORCIST followed by the original THE OMEN on Saturday.

We never thought we would have so much time on our hands as 2 watch classics,that,3 months ago ,took 4 granted..

Exactly. A masterful film. It's such a shame that today's audiences are forced to focus on the high tech attributes of a film and not its essence.

I like watching the classics. I wasn’t alive in the 60’s or 70’s, so compare it to what I’ve know , it’s like a completely different world. Plus, I love the simplicity of the older films. Some films nowadays try to hard to be, “smart, hip, edgy, etc.” They just try too hard. Didn’t have that problem as much back then, at least, that’s how I feel about it.

Watched THE EXORCIST again last night and I must say, I've seen it a few times, and I know I'm in the minority here, but I've never liked the movie. I've never cared for the exorcism sub-genre. Watched the original THE OMEN today. Great performance by Gregory Peck. They don't make films like these any more.

Am I wrong? Are there others who don't particularly care for THE EXORCIST as well or am I flying solo on this one?

I liked them both but dont think I ever rewatched them.
