Cleveland has now surpassed the whole state of Hawaii in terms of voting. Who knew Cleveland was so large? Maybe there are sickos out there who just want to see American Idol made fun of. Possibly get the show cancelled and off the air. Vote the Fat Bastid in and MAKE them give him a record contract. You know.....the ultimate PUNK'D!!!!!!!!! (Maybe Ashton is lurking!)

Amen Sister! Funniest line of the show from the mouth of Tana (again): "I am the Master Studder!" How many times did she mention that stupid Bedazzler? I remember I had one of those as a kid growing up when studding your denim jacket was all the rage! I don't think the Donald was as impressed with it as she was! I too was afraid for Tana. Luckily she put her track record out there for Trump and tripped up Alex in the process. Though I missed the first few episodes of the show in the very beginning, I did not see anything in Alex I liked. I felt he was lazy and a tad overconfident. I really think Tana will do well in the interviews. She seems a little more polished and mature than the others.

Alex sure was right about being able to use that as ammunition in case of a loss!! The studs definitely brought the shirts up a notch...but the design was already great without them. Far superior to Magna's. I like the lesson learned on this loss; despite the quality (and price) of the merchandise, without a decent marketing plan they still got beat. Incidentally...I though it was hilarious to see Kendra and Craig have to work together; these two can't STAND each other! Kendra is in for a rude awakening since she seems to think she's got just two more opponents to knock down on her way to becoming Apprentice. Apple

Amazing Race comes on after AI (on CBS)...The race is down to the final four... NEW AI THEME RUMORI find rumors are closer to being true on the day of the show. Two themes. Each contestant sings 2 songs, one from each theme. The themes are supposed as follows: American Top 40 of the past year - Isn't this close to what they did last week?? So we are going to have alot of Usher, 50 Cent, Destiny's Child, Avrile and Green Day?? Bo already did the Gavin DeGraw song. This is my LAST plea and opportunity to wish him to do a 3 Doors Down song!!!! :p Second theme is songs by Lieber and Stoller. Yep. Who? I knew a few songs from the 60's - had to look some others up. Seems the choices range from Elvis songs (Jailhouse Rock, Hound Dog) to songs like Stand by Me, On Broadway, Under the Boardwalk, Love Potion #9 and Spanish Harlem. Then there are the "gimmicky" songs - Yakety Yak, Charlie Brown, Kansas City and our sure personal favorite - Fast Women and Sloe Gin.... This show has T-R-A-I-N-W-R-E-C-K written all over it.

I had heard there were people doing this, in fact I mentioned in an earlier post that I had heard people were out to make a joke of the show or were hell-bent on getting it cancelled. This website is supposedly some serious chit. These maniacs WANT to crown Scott Savol the American Idol. Supposedly the website was up and running last year and that is why John Stevens got so far undeservingly. I guess this year, membership there is at an all time high and when Constantine proved TOO GOOD to be the worst, they all changed to vote for the worst - Scott Savol. Wonder if this trend will hold? There has to be a whole lot of OTHER people voting for their favorites, right?

Anybody watching AI? The first round, the contestants had to sing songs by Lieber and Stoller, who wrote Jailhouse Rock, etc. Anthony was horrible, Scott was good (I hate saying that), Vonzell was fun AND good, Bo was wonderful, and Carrie was pimped beyond belief in spite of a mediocre performance, IMHO.
The second round is something about Billboard hits. Anthony, again, was not good. Scott was okay, but a bit flat.

For the FIRST time this whole season I can honestly say Carrie blew me away with her performance tonight! That first Elvis song she did - dang! NAILED it. It was the first time I ever just watched her and was completely entertained by her and awed by her talent. She found her niche...and that was the PERFECT song for her. EXCELLENT! That said - THE GOODCarrie's second song. I hear that song on the country stations and she sang it better than the group Rascal Flatts. First time I felt she really connected with the audience (at least with me). She also looked beautiful tonight. I am not a fan yet - but I gotta give this girl her props and an A+ for improvement. Bo was good on both songs. I thought Los Lonely Boys was a bit of a cop-out, no money notes - guess I was still wishing for a 3 Doors Down. It was nice to see a more subdued side to Bo. Scott - I thought he did both songs very good. He is no Bo or Carrie but he had 2 good song choices. THE MIXEDVonzell - first song was good. A really different take on the original but very soulful. I didn't like her choice on the 2nd song - the "charity single" for AI? That was a sell out and it is not a very good song anyway. But she sang well and looked beautiful as always. Anthony - his first song was horrific. His second was great. I think the judges didn't give him enough credit for that 2nd performance. I did notice while watching him sing the Backstreet Boys how much he resembles Nick Carter :p THE TOKEN CELBRITY IN THE AUDIENCEAnyone see Cheryl Ladd? Still gorgeous after all these years! I seriously can't remember how they do the boot when there is only 5 people. I am still very worried about Vonzell. I worry about her fan base. We'll have to wait and see. Film at 11. (8 MST )

First, my rant of the day: Does Simon ever have anything nice to say about Vonzell? Seriously... She sang those songs perfectly well (although I wasn't crazy about the first song since I didn't know it much like, I'm guessing, 95% of America) but Simon keeps putting her down. His obvious pimping of Carrie and his obvious jabs at Vonzell aren't kosher.
Anthony - Sounded horrible on the first song, OK on the second song - His 13 year-old fan base needs to come through for him. How many times did your daughter call, Part?
Scott - He actually sounded pretty good. His arrogance is going to turn off a lot of people, but with people voting for the worst, I think he's safe. The very first villain of American Idol, ladies and gentlemen!
Vonzell - She sounded great on both songs. Doesn't matter - she's in trouble tonight, I think.
Bo - He sounded great on both songs. I don't know though - is it me or does he pick songs that are easy to sing?
Carrie - To show that she has personality, Carrie kicks the mic stand. That's right - she kicked the mic stand. What a performer! :p In any case, she sounded great.
My personal bottom 3: Anthony, Scott, Carrie
The Reality Bottom 3: Anthony, Scott, Vonzell with Anthony leaving

I'm not really sure how much power Simon holds with the show but I am pretty certain the producers are wanting to choose a winner based on demographics. How many times have we heard that a 'rocker' is gonna win this? I'll bet they would love a fresh faced young country girl as a winner. A sistah won last year. A man of color the year before. I'm thinking they are wanting something different this year. I am honestly very afraid for Vonzell right now. Can the U.S. Postal Service save her by voting all night last night? This could be here last night around tonight....

I am so sick of superior performers leaving the show while other, less deserving competitors stay on week after week. In all fairness, as much as I loathe Scott, I think that Anthony deserves to go before him, and they both deserve to go before Vonzell, Carrie or Bo. At least I feel that Vonzell puts her heart and soul into every performance. She's cute and pretty and perky and sweet, AND she's got a nice voice.
As for Bo and Carrie, could the show pimp them as the Final Two any more than they already do? The judges give them constant tongue baths and, since they performed 4th and 5th last night, they even showed them standing together and waving at the camera! Simon can't even hold it in any longer, and called Carrie robotic last night.

I won't be home tonight at all until very late so I will miss the results show AND this "expose". I think I will survive... So, now there is an incriminating voice mail out there from Paula to Corey Clark in which she sounds desperate and paranoid about the press she is getting. Oy. And this: --- news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/tv_and_radio/4512077.stm Paula Abdul had transatlantic hits in the late 1980s and early 1990s American Idol judge Paula Abdul had an affair with singer Corey Clark while he was a contestant on the talent show, he has claimed in a US TV interview. Clark, 24, told ABC's Primetime Live that Abdul, 42, secretly coached him before he was ejected from the 2003 series for hiding an arrest record. Idol network Fox said it would "look into any evidence of improper conduct". Last week Abdul said Clark was "an admitted liar and opportunist who engages in unlawful activities". 'Better song choices' Clark said Abdul gave him money for clothes and a haircut before he was disqualified from the show in April 2003. "So she was like, 'You got to have better song choices, and I want to help you do that. I want to look after you like - like I'm your mom,'" Clark said. "And then she was like, 'Well, more like your sister,'" he added. "And then she was like, 'Well, maybe more like your special friend.' And then she was like, 'Well, maybe more like your anal sex slave.'" Fox said Clark never notified the network or producers of any concerns about the show despite "multiple opportunities" to do so. In a statement on the American Idol website it added that the public should "carefully examine Mr Clark's motives, given his apparent desire to exploit his prior involvement with American Idol for profit and publicity". Before becoming an American Idol judge, Abdul was a pop star with transatlantic hits including Straight Up, Opposites Attract and Rush Rush. She also co-wrote Kylie Minogue's 2000 hit Spinning Around. Clark was ejected from the talent show in 2003 for failing to disclose that he faced criminal charges of battery and resisting arrest after a fight with his sister. He pleaded no contest to the charges. Now in its fourth season, American Idol attracts an average of nearly 28 million viewers for its weekly broadcast. Its latest winner will be chosen and awarded a record contract on 25 May. --- "anal sex slave"? Really Paula, you should be more careful what you say! So forget the argument that she was single, he was single. She was a JUDGE!! You can't sleep with the contestants! This whole show has no credibility in light of this and the whole Votefortheworst.com. Granted, there is no solid proof that this affair happened. But the burden of proof IS on her and he knows way too many details about her home and rooms within her house (decorations, placement of objects) that even if she DIDN'T sleep with him, she allowed him to be close enough to know information about her. Her credibility is toast. Big mistake. I say fire Paula and bring back either Mark McGrath or Quentin Tarantino (best judges ever) to replace her. I'm not watching next year unless they start allowing voters to vote the worst OFF the show every week OR have Sugar Ray as a judge. The eye candy alone would at least ease the pain of watching this show week in and week out.
