Of COURSE he picked Jen. This was a reward complete with food, showers and massage. (Maybe Gregg is not an idiot after all? )

What I loved is Jeff telling him he could pick a THIRD person to go with them. In hindsight, the strategic thing to have done is pick one of the guys - Ian or Tom - to go first, then he could have picked his precious Jen to go 2nd.

What I loved even more? Tom's response to Gregg - "Oh, no....we'll pay YOU back."

Did I miss something? Where WAS Kendra? When they finally caught up to her, it appeared she was just "schmoozing" with someone....

I found it harsh for her to chastise Danny for "taking over" when it was clear to us the Best Buy executives were on a tight schedule and told Danny and Erin that numerous times. It didn't appear Kendra left her people with anything as she wanted to do the presentation herself. She is very lucky the executives were pleased with her ideas and vision for the project and that she able to come out of that mess smelling like a rose.

Big contrast to Tana who basically told her people they could have all the authority they needed.

Another question: Tell me why it takes TWO people to park a car in NYC? I would have told Chris to have one of them take care of the parking and either Chris or Kristen to get one of their butts up there to the meeting!

It looked to me also like that was EXACTLY what she was doing...especially obvious when Erin had to go and fetch her.

Again...a big indicaton of the contrast between 'blame-game' Kendra and Tana, who will make the best use of the team she's got.

I agree, and was thinking the same thing about why can't Chris just find a space or even drive around while Kristen heads upstairs.

Tana has a bit of a problem especially with Kristen...who went on record stating it wasn't her butt on the line and she basically wasn't gonna give 100% to this task.

Of course, Tana did the same thing to Kendra a few tasks back, when she knew she had exemption from being fired...what goes around comes around, I suppose!!!

Something else I am curious about: Does Tana's task seem more difficult to you than Kendra's?

Kendra's involves a Game World championship with Best Buy and EA - laying it out and scheduling the event. Tana's putting together a mini Olympics with athletes in competitions plus promoting NYC to host the '12 Olympics.

Neither appears to be easy by any means but it seems there would be alot more VIPS to woo at the Olympics challenge than the Playstation one...

I hadn't thought about that, but I guess you're right!!

It would seem Tana has a many more people/events to coordinate than what's involved for Kendra.

However, they may have dolled out the tasks with just that in mind. I can't forget the very end of last night's show where that woman from Playstation was NOT pleased with the space they were alloted in the event. Kendra's task itself may be a bit less complex, but the test is in how good of an event she puts on and can she please he participants. From what I've seen so far...it appears she had the 'vision' but wasn't doing too well in carrying it off.

But like you say...the edits make things look like a mess, it's more entertaining that way.

Pros for Kendra:
Has Kendra ever been to the Boardroom? I don't recall ever seeing her there. I think the Donald will really take that into consideration making his decision. She also has a winning record as PM - EVEN- when she was working with Craig who she loathed. I think she will get props for "playing well with others" in that regard.

Pros for Tana:
The Donald (or Mark Burnett) may really want to hire a Street Smarts person - might make for good television. They might want to put Iowa on the map!

Guess I am really wondering how much this final task influences his decision.

Wonder if any of this final task will involve staying up past 2 am and/or drinking coffee. Then Tana would lose!!

Kendra has been fortunate enough to have never been a member of Net Worth...the team that lost about 9 tasks in a row.

Tana was a member of a few losing tasks but I don't recall if she was ever one of those called back into the Boardroom. If she ever was, it wasn't very many times.

Judging from what I saw of Apprentice II's finale...when picking the winner Trump doesn't seem to consider past wins/losses as much as how the last two did on their final tasks. From what I've seen so far I still think Tana's the best one for the job.

However, I'm not Donald Trump!!

One thing that still concerns me about Tana...I never could see Trump hiring someone with no college as his apprentice. I think it came up with Tana in one of the interviews, because of her answer..."I decided to have children instead."

Yeesh...I think it all WILL come down to the last task for these two!

I missed the first few minutes. What is the theme? I caught the end of Carrie's Sin Wagon, and was not that impressed.

I missed the first half hour.

I was not thrilled with Bo's song choice. It was quite boring. I love the song that Anthony sang, and I thought he did it well. Carrie's second song stunk. Bo's version of Money was fantastic. What was up with Vonzell for the first song? She was crying and nervous, but she pulled it together in time and did very well with Don't Treat Me This Way. We'll see what Anthony comes up with this time.

I really felt sorry for Vonzell with the problem she was having whatever that might be but she pulled through and done wonderful for her 2nd song. And got my vote again.

First of all I HATE the Dixie Chicks and Carrie did ok with her 1st song but sucked to high heaven on her 2nd.

Bo did not do well on his 1st song either but really rocked on the 2nd.

Anthony did so-so on his 1st song but I thought he did real good on his 2nd.

I was really surprised that Carrie and Anthony sang the same song.

I would like Carrie to go home but I don't think that will happen. It will be Vonzell or Anthony.

Switching channels and shows now. I was so GLAD that Rob and Ambuh didn't win the Amazing Race and that other couple( I can't think of their names)did. The come from behind win was wonderful.

I liked Anthony, but feel that he's just not a great performer, and I think that's what should set them apart right now. As much as I disliked Carrie's performance, I'm not sure I would want the final three to be Anthony, Bo and Vonzell. However, I would LOVE the final two to be Bo and Vonzell.

Btw, even though I don't watch Amazing Race, I heard on the radio this morning that the couple that won is going to use some of their prize money for in vitro fertilization.

I really didn't like anyone last night with the exception of Anthony's last song - I thought that was great.

Carrie FINALLY gets a country night and sings a most horrendous rendition of the horrible Sin Wagon? This was her night to shine and outdo all the other contestants. It was a GIMME! She should be booted tonight for that alone. That and the fact my ears are still bleeding from BOTH her songs.

Bo is still his one-trick pony self. He is pleasant to hear, not so pleasant to look at though what a wonder a haircut and some Crest White Strips could do for him. I am bored by him - he has a great voice but has done nothing to "wow" me since singing his fantastic version of Drift Away back in like Week One.

Vonzell - who knows what was up with her emotionally. She was a trooper but her performances were awful. She sounded nervous, was off-key most of the time and very, very breathy while singing. I would be most surprised if she was not booted tonight. Not sure if she will get sympathy votes but I think we will be saying buh-bye.

Anthony has such a pleasant contemporary pop sound to him. I could hear him on the radio singing some George Michael, Enrigue Iglesias, Backstreet Boys, Richard Marx stuff. Nothing big in the way of being a big performer though I will give him props for probably being the most improved contestant overall in the competition.

That said, I can't say I care much about the outcome of this competition. I feel it will be a Bo/Carrie Final Two. Two one-trick ponies. So be it. I wasn't happy with the previous 2 season's winners either!! :p

Carrie - She sounded ok in her first song, but I was expecting to get blown away. I wasn't. Second song - ugggghhh. What does Simon say - it's the band's fault! :rolleyes:

Bo - First song - bo-ring. Second song - he actually pulled it off.

Vonzell - First song - She sounded flat at first, but was getting in her groove at the end - the ending was amazing. Second song - She sounded pretty good.

Anthony - First song - Boring but sounded OK. Second song - The song suits him and he sang it pretty well. Like Mig, I'm also surprised that he sang the same song as Carrie. Lucky for him, Carrie blew it.

Real Bottom 2 - Anthony and Vonzell. Vonzell is in trouble I think, but Anthony has consistently been in the bottom group so I think Anthony is going.

I was thrilled with the outcome. I have been rooting for Uchenna and Joyce from Day One. They seem like such GOOD people and played the game fair and square. Good sports and good competitors and always even seemed to help their fellow racers when they could.

They said they actually applied for the Race to help bring them closer in their marriage. I always admired the way they treated each other. There was a task in which Joyce had to shave her entire head bald or risk going back to the beginning of the leg of the race and starting over and most likely being eliminated. Her husband didn't want her to do and seemed to care more for her feelings. She was a trooper - said they had gotten that far, they would keep going. Point is I never doubted U & J's commitment to the Race or each other.

I would not have cared that much if Rob and Ambuh had won - if not for the fact that she has already won a million dollars +. They played well and I like the way they treated each other. How Rob treated other players...well that is another story :rolleyes:

I always try to be fair and open minded - especially when it comes to Carrie since she CLEARLY is not my favorite. I have always given her props when deserved, but she blew chunks on this song! On a performance level? A little better than the vocals but seriously, my ears were BLEEDING!

Me too but it was an accident and usually doesn't happen regardless of my title.

I don't like nor listen to country music so can't say whether Carrie was good on the first song or not. And as much as I like Carrie and predict she will win - she was horrible on the second song, by far her worst. Maybe because I am a big TP fan but that was brutal. And Lil' Ant'ney although better on his version didn't wow me either.
