There are indications that the Mexican drug world was involved in the crystal methlab found in Willemsoord, Overijssel. This can be concluded from the criminal file, Maarten Meulemeesters said. He is the lawyer of the 65-year-old owner of the 'drug villa', who was arrested at the end of May.
A cartel of Mexican drug criminals would have played a part in setting up the lab and producing the narcotics in the spacious house on the Ronde Blesse , says Meulemeesters. He cannot say how large that share was. He does not want to go into details from the file. He also leaves open the question on which indications the lawyer relies and which drug cartel it concerns.
According to the criminal lawyer, that there are still suspects at large in this case is quite possible. Running a drug lab of this size alone seems next to impossible, Meulemeesters also acknowledges. The police previously reported that new arrests are not ruled out.
But for the time being the owner (65) of the house is the only suspect. Since the end of July, he has been allowed to await the trial under certain conditions in freedom .
He and his lawyer choose to remain silent to the press. His lawyer does not want to reveal whether he cooperates with the authorities. Only at the hearing will it become clear how the owner sees his role in this case. It is therefore unknown how many other persons must have been involved in the lab in Willemsoord according to the lawyer.
It would not be the first time that Mexicans are involved in the production of crystal meth in the Netherlands. The National Police warned in May in De Telegraaf that more and more drug cartels from Mexico are moving to the Netherlands to help cook and transport the highly addictive hard drug. In addition, several Mexicans were arrested last year for involvement in meth labs in, among others, Herwijnen and Achter Drempt in Gelderland.
The drug world in Mexico is known as ruthless and extremely violent. Nevertheless, Meulemeesters believes that his client has nothing to fear from a settlement or other threats.

The Hague Godfather Piet Schneider (64) arrested.
An international investigation into a drug trafficking and money laundering led to 17 arrests on Wednesday including ten in the Netherlands, police said in a statement. Piet S., known in the criminal underworld as "De Dikke" and with reported ties to the illegal drugs trade and street level assassinations, was believed to be one of those taken into custody, the Telegraaf said.
Nearly a thousand police officers carried out dozens of raids simultaneously at locations in Belgium, Hungary, the Netherlands, Slovakia and Spain. The investigation was sparked by information uncovered by Dutch authorities when they gained access into the EncroChat system, an organization which provides encrypted phones.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2020 - 10:40 Dutch drug dealer linked to Cali Cartel arrested in Spain
The Spanish police arrested a Dutch drug trafficker who is linked to the Colombian Cali Cartel. The man is suspected of laundering some 6 million euros in cryptocurrency, the Spanish police said on Sunday. The police did not reveal his identity, only saying that he is a Dutch national of Colombian descent.
The man was arrested in the coastal province of Malaga with the help of the Dutch police. He represented the notorious Colombian drug syndicate in Europe, in the Netherlands and United Kingdom in particular, the Spanish police said.
This investigation was launched in 2018, when the Spanish authorities became aware of a criminal gang based in Malaga that trafficked drugs in multiple European countries. The investigation led to the Dutch man, who moved to a villa in the coastal town of Marbella in order to evade the Dutch police, according to the Spanish authorities. When the man was identified, the help of the Dutch police were called in.
Upon his arrest at his villa, the Spanish authorities seized 85 thousand euros in cash, three cars, expensive watches, credit cards connected to cryptocurrency accounts, computers and cell phones. In the Netherlands, the police seized 170 thousand dollars worth of cryptocurrency.

Dutch police raided Halley's home in Delft near Rotterdam, following a joint operation with Spanish officers. Halley was jailed for six years for his part in a 1991 £80 million cocaine importation from Colombia to Britain masterminded by ex-bouncer Warren. Spanish police described the Dutch-Colombian, a sort of European salesman for the feared Cali Cartel formed as a breakaway from Pablo Escobar and his Medellin associates in the late 80s, as Warren's 'long-time' associate.

Anonymous reports from the criminal intelligence service would show that the crime boss Piet S. (64) from The Hague, who was arrested in September, was in close contact with Satudarah MC, banned in the Netherlands. De Telegraaf writes that the informants of the police said that the club would protect the drug organization of Piet S. in exchange for cocaine and money.
The Spanish police have observed a meeting between Satudarah members and S. in Spain. S. was also present with Satudarah members at a funeral in Nootdorp. The police photographed a hug by Piet S. and Angelo M. The head of Satudarah in Europe.
In September, S. and sixteen others were arrested for, among other things, large-scale drug trafficking and money laundering in a Dutch-Spanish investigation. The evidence in the case mainly comes from cracked messages from the communication service Encrochat.
The “Taxus†investigation started in 2016 on the basis of a series of tips from the Criminal Intelligence Team (TCI) of the police. S. would import very large quantities of cocaine to Europe and die in the money. S. would also trade in raw materials for synthetic drugs and hash. On paper S. has no income. That is the reason that the investigation focused on S. on a large scale.
S. turned out to travel frequently to Spain, South America and Dubai. His network had contacts in Hungary, Slovenia, Spain, Belgium, Turkey, China, Colombia and Australia, according to the police.
Thousands of members Satudarah is not banned in most countries and is likely to have thousands of members worldwide. Angelo M. is not a suspect in the Taxus case. He is involved with other leaders of the national board of the club in a drawn-out lawsuit as a suspect of leading a criminal organization. The suspects in that case are now free.
On March 15 there will be a preparatory hearing on the case of Piet S. in the court in The Hague.

The police have established the identity of the murdered man who was found at the Zeeuwse Oesterdam. It is 50-year-old Jose Francisco Velasquez Castillo. Before his liquidation, the man stayed for some time under the false identity of a man from Venezuela in Belgium and the Netherlands, including in the house of the Dutch former drug boss John Heijnen in Sint Willebrord.
The body was found on October 17, 2020 at the Oesterdam in Tholen. The police received tips as a result of, among other things, a broadcast in Opsporing Verzocht. Jose Velasquez Castillo from Colombia was also called “Paco†according to the police. He was killed by violence and his body was then left at the Oesterdam. Now that his identity has been established, his body will be handed over to the family in Colombia.
The investigation into the murder is being continued by a large-scale investigation team of at least twenty detectives.
John Heijnen (63) from Sint Willebrord responded after the photo of the victim was on television. Heijnen says that Velasquez had stayed with him for seven months. Heijnen handed over a suitcase with the victim's clothing and personal items to the police, including his Colombian passport and items he had kept.
John H. is known for being the leader of the York gang, according to police and judicial authorities. That was a large internationally branched drug organization that distributed Brabant ecstasy pills, hash and coke. On October 11, 1999, 44 suspects were arrested, including John H. Police found numerous types of drugs and a complete arsenal of weapons.
Their contact Eddie S., aka The Nose, lived in Amsterdam. This Israeli businessman traded the ecstasy pills in the US and Israel. In Israel, police deployed an undercover agent to expose the gang. It was big news there when Operation Octopus led to the arrest of the Middle East branch. Eddie S. owns various buildings in the capital
