Nice, enjoy! Sam Adams if my favorite beer (not the Boston Lager, the brewery as a whole). MGD's my second favorite. COOL, when you say MGD...... is that Miller? My fav summer swill beer is Miller High Life.

What variation? I picked up a 4-pack of Prairie Artisan Ales - Seasick Crocodile. I bought a single recently to try it and liked it. It's a sour ale with Cranberries, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Ginger. LOVE the beers this time of year with Halloween and Christmas so close to each other! Nice, for TGD i like the old standard SA lager.

The Holiday Christmas Ale is pretty much sold out by me 😡 Glad I stocked up when I did but plenty of Winter Lager. And I agree with you DP, good batch this year. I remember years ago when I first tried it, I loved it (we're talking probably 9-10 years ago). The next year when it came out I was eagerly anticipating it and grabbed it as soon as I saw it. Got home and tried it and was disappointed severely! It was nothing like the previous year and my father even agreed as he had it the year prior as well. I actually wrote an e-mail to Sam Adams expressing my disappointment. They responded back saying that our expectations were too high, which I felt was a complete slap in the face. The beer had no flavor and was borderline flat compared to the year prior. But to make up for it, they sent us a pair of the Sam Adams perfect pint glasses, which I appreciated. I'm a believer in the science and it's the only glass I'll drink beer out of. 🺠I know exactly what you are saying... I felt it was jumping around every year. This one this year is very good. I remember Coors once made a Winter special brew and it was fantastic, never made it again....dont know why, it sold like hotcakes, long time ago..... I saved one of the bottles . Will take a pic and post to show you.

Looking forward to the picture DP because I never buy Coors so I didn't see it or try it. Was pleasantly surprised as my local store I go to today had 2 more 6 packs of the Sam Adams Holiday Christmas Ale. I grabbed both 6 packs! Very cool, Coors only made these for distribution in late 80's - early 90's. Attached here are pics of the ones I had. I hear that Coors does still make it but for only special locations in CO. I also loved the Sam Adams Feziwig Holiday Ale, they no longer make it. Pic attached. I pulled these bottles from a old shelf in garage and took pics on my Bar.

Very nice DP, thanks for sharing. Had no idea on the Coors and also don't know why Sam Adams discontinued the Old Fezziwig? Seemed like it was a popular variety. I'm just glad they didn't discontinue my White Christmas Ale and just renamed it! 🻠Your Very Sharp i12 I think you are on to something..... I really think this years Sam Adams Winter Lager is very similar to their Fezziwig Ale ...making the Winter Lager not really a lager but a Ale. Who's to argue with their brewmasters, we are only the people who really give ship*..... Or pay attention to that. LMFAO

And if I go back for a second, it'll be a Winter Lager.

No way, gotta stay strong my friend. I haven't had liquor on St. Patrick's Day in years unfortunately because I usually give up alcohol for Lent. Would love to actually celebrate it one year when it's on a weekend and truly indulge. To each his own , many different traditions is what makes the world interesting,
